There's quite a number in Whangarei preschools and schools. Lots of fruit, some baking. One usually has eggs! Very big double yokers or small eggs. A parent owns an egg farm

The problem with debating Pharmac funding in isolation is that the whole sector is grossly underfunded. Yes, more $$ on medicines would bring gains. But there are better gains to be made by investing in, say, Māori health and public health approaches.

Disagree. My solar panels exported 70% to the grid. So l bought a fully electric car. This will cost me nothing to run. When you add savings in fossil fuel, solar wins big time

We talked to farmers in a South Island community and found: (1) mistrust in climate science and scientists, (2) mistrust in government, (3) mistrust of the mainstream media and (4) a sense of responsibility and care for their farms. #ClimateChange rsnz.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/...

Most or all farmers get one or more rural media. It's all incredibly biased climate denialism/ skepticism, anti progressive, Groundswill enabling etc. I have farmer friends who quote this stuff as science and proof of urban hatred of them

The NZ Govt travels the world telling people how they take their climate commitments seriously. But at home they dismantle every policy that constrains emissions and subsidise more emissions. So we've joined international efforts to hold them to account. www.greenpeace.org/aotearoa/pre...

To stay out of opposition. Luxon has no internal power. National would rather have Peters as PM if they get all the key ministries. Peters can swan about in his last rodeo and National take the blame. Petrrswould sacrifice all NZF and their MPs' ambitions to be PM.

Arguing against my own argument, the left bloc would never make him PM - Labour might but Greens & TPM never - so Nat & ACT might just call his bluff. And l don't think he would use his last term in Parliament on the cross benches. Damn this logic

Jack Craw @jackcraw.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
He would have complete control over the election result. Nat MPs would rather be in Govt than opposition, and in Ministerial positions and salaries. And trading titular control against actually maintaining neolib agenda.
