While having a shortened preseason & 3 day gap between games isn't ideal, the team can't use both as an excuse for their bad play tonight. This is virtually the same team from last season minus a couple roster tweaks. Could it be growing pains from adjusting from Trevor Letowski to Derek Lalonde?

The NHL schedule for this season has been weird so far! The Leafs started off their season with back-to-back games. The Canucks and Oilers are playing each other for the 3rd time since Sept 24th. Meanwhile the Habs have a 3 day gap between games 🤷
