also great to know you’re involved with Iconoscope, producing !!!!! It has to feel full circle from championing TVMs, writing, podcasting and now to help get them on disc! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I know releases for all things TVMs can’t be, but throwing this out there, Devil Dog Hound of Hell had a blu, but the audio is damaged. It sounds like boiling water under the audio. If that could ever get fixed it would be worth it. Hope the audio isn’t permanently damaged. #filmpreservation

Listened last nite! Loved the moment when you discussed the screening of Crawlspace (1972) I know we both love that one. I still recall being floored seeing it back when you did your Pod Ep for it. It felt unlike anything I’d ever seen/known of tv films. I’d love it to get BLU or 4K love.

I know the mini-series Hollywood Wives got a DVD, but having it on blu-ray in HD would be so cool! However, not sure if that one was edited to tape or of there are film prints. God i need to rewatch this again soon, so good. youtu.be/3JpnorgDK6E?...

Seriously where is the 4K UHD for this film! Shocked it hasn’t been licensed for it yet. Perhaps Indicator will do it, if so it should look great. They do awesome 4K discs.

Mine is shipping out today, and I have a mac. I wonder if the ones they are now shipping have the latest update. I would think when the SD card is in the mac you could go in and remove the mac os add ons before you eject it.

Paramount Plus wiped out Season 1 from streaming! I was caught up except ep 200 that just aired yesterday! And I can’t watch it! So now I’m stuck. No way I’m skipping yesterdays ep! It is the only reason I have #paramountplus @beyondthegatesfans.bsky.social #BeyondTheGates #btg

Leisure Process The Complete Epic Recordings 1982-1983 First time any of their recordings have been on CD. Great release with surprisingly great dynamic range! They might be streaming, but if you love the early 80’s new wave/postpunk/synth/europop give it a try. #uk #synth #newwave #physicalmedia

I rented this back when it was a VHS rental and loved it. Mostly because I love her in Satisfaction. I got my hands on a laserdisc for it a few years back. I wonder if Justine hated the experience of working with the now MAGA Adam Baldwin

Wow, this is sad. I think they were working on a new album. Soft Cell’s Art of Falling Apart Super Deluxe 6 CD set is due out on Oct 31st. Have been on a Soft Cell kick for last few years so this is quite sad.

When the product placement started, I thought it was lame, then I looked forward to it. Most ridiculous was the tide in laundry basket at Smitty & Martins during a dramatic moment. It was just sitting there. What made it funny is that Tide would stay in laundry room not carried around the house! 🤣

I hope he breaks up Smitty & Martin, cause Smitty has gotten on my last nerve. Plus I want to see some gay romantic drama.

Loved Shadow of Fear Can’t wait to hear your audio commentary! Love these Dan Curtis releases dropping. Link to my letterboxd review. I know you’ll agree on my thoughts on Akins! He’s great here, and wasn’t expecting his role to be arguably be the lead! boxd.it/bi0JMp

Blu-Ray / Mono / Kino - Dan Curtis Productions included in Dan Curtis' Late-Night Mysteries There’s a lot more going on below the surface here, and the chemistry between Anjanette Comer & Claude Aki...

my favorite, reasons rented it tons on VHS as a kid It’s set in camp & there are children at the camp! It has great atmosphere, chilly fall vibe with blowing leaves, which begs the question why are kids at a camp at this time of year? Don’t they have school?! Great kills, fun cast of counselors

BFI UK 4K UHD Nosferatu (1979) 4K is garbage. Major letdown coming from Bfi. Apha-Omega Digital GmbH in Germay handled the transfer and was DNR’d horribly. A.i. has also been used! I have no idea if the U.S. @shoutstudios.bsky.social 4K will be the same but the BFI disc should be recalled.

@barnesandnoble.com New WestRidge Market Minnetonka MN Location I was told they would have a movie section when they were moving locations. This is so annoying. I will have to drive further to another location just to hit Criterion 50% off sales. I hate this location. Nothing here for me.

I’ve been rewatching the Star Wars prequels (first time since they were released) Is it me or are the political storylines sounding like MAGA! Lucas was warning bitches.

This was the leanest podcast ever. Not a bit of fat. Break neck speed and trivia I didn’t even know about the film. Art leaked many months ago of a 4K UHD release and then silence. Makes me wonder if they decided to work on a better edit of OG ending. I still have my recalled DVD! (& Blu-Ray)
