Revisiting this great album that was released in January. Still sounding great. Bristol band Langkamer with a 90s indie rock/alt-country/americana hybrid made with Pavement soundman Remko Schouten at his Zarzalico studios in Murcia, Spain.

First gig for a while tonight. Carla Dal Forno at Strange Brew in Bristol. Her album, Confession is one of my favourite of the year. Particular looking forward to hearing one of my songs of the year live: youtu.be/Q7BNSKE4u3k?...

Strange Brew presents the cult Australian multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, touring her fourth studio album. Working between post-punk minimalism, experimental pop and atmospheric electronics, her work has been praised by the likes of Pitchfork, The Quietus and Resident Advisor alike

Ex Porridge Radio front woman Dana Margolin released her debut solo song, 'Big Beautiful Sound', this week & fabulous it is too. youtu.be/Xn7agpjQO5w?...

Speaking about the track, Margolin says: “We go all the way down together, down a spiral staircase into the centre of the earth where there is darkness and nothing can grow, and we chose to go there, and wasn’t it fun, and right there at the deepest depths of the journey is a glowing ember, something luminous, a big and beautiful sound.”

Another great song from Aimee Fatale, Summertime Ain't Easy. A bit of Lana mixed with 60s icons and a fair bit of her own style. Looking forward to owning the vinyl of her debut ep. youtu.be/oypAA6TI-xg?...

Breach was my introduction to Fenne Lily and still my favourite but her debut, On Hold, is a mighty fine album & gets better with age. On my 7 album shortlist for #5DebutAlbumsSF4. Amazing that she wrote this when she was a teenager. Great to see it in the semis.

Another listen to the utterly brilliant new album from Beth Orton. I thought she wouldn't beat her last album but this is special. Brings to mind classic late Talk Talk, superb instrumentation, sounds like being in the same room as the musicians.

Not good but i'm wondering if you have Sky whether you can watch free as the cheapest HBO Max option is now free for Sky subscribers but could just be a misleading piece of info on BBC article as usually you need to subscribe to more expensive tiers to get TNT streaming. Will have to wait & see
