Friday night, @djcvp.bsky.social and I had the pleasure of stopping by our friend Stephen's annual "Teddy Bear Ball" toy drive in Providence. We didn't end up staying long -- it turns out that crowded bars and shoulder surgeries don't mix, who knew? -- but we had a fun time for a great cause!

Had my first post-surgical follow-up today. The stitches got taken out, and the surgeon says my rotator cuff is coming along nicely. I need to wear the sling for another month, but she cleared me to wear jockstraps again, so that's nice. 😜 Seriously though, I feel like I'm in good hands. 🤲🏼

One of my fondest memories of you is seeing you light up at the sight of all the games and fantasy stuff at our friends' house in Bridgewater shortly after we met.
