Spending millions of taxpayer dollars on Trump’s vanity ballroom and a UFC spectacle that damaged the White House grounds is wasteful spending we simply can’t afford. It may seem small in the federal budget, but waste like this adds up and contributes to the country going broke.

Spending tens of millions of dollars on missiles to strike a girls’ school is certainly one way to go broke.

I remember when Republican politicians and media turned Obama’s tan suit into a fake scandal, calling it “unpresidential,” “shocking,” and even “a sign to enemies that he’s a wimp.” Yet Trump wears a red baseball cap with an ill-fitting suit, and those same politicians and media have nothing to say.

To be fair to the NHL, only 26.3%–26.9% of its players are American. That may explain why they have different political views.

For the life of me, I don't understand why people continue to allow themselves to be used as props for Trump. What does the NFL have to do with announcing a new submarine-manufacturing project?

If Trump travels specifically for a campaign event or to campaign for another candidate, the campaign—not the taxpayers—is responsible for those campaign-related travel costs. But knowing Trump, the taxpayers are the ones footing the bill.

And who's going to do that? Republicans control Congress, and the AG is his personal attorney. His best chance of facing prison depends on the midterms—and even with Democratic control, it's 50-50 whether Jeffries and Schumer have the cojones to do it.

Trump keeps doing the corruption and crime in broad daylight because the people and institutions responsible for holding him accountable aren't doing so.

Black women have not seen increased employment in Trump's 2nd term. They are experiencing worsening employment conditions, and while some dudes may complain they're overlooked by the Trump administration, some in the manosphere may not mind—or even enjoy—the fact that Black women are struggling.

The American people are watching Trump’s corruption and crimes unfold in real time. The Republican senators’ answer is to put Jack Smith front and center and remind everyone of Trump’s past corruption and crimes. That’s quite a strategy: when the present is a problem, drag the past into the spotlight

When a witness appears before the Senate, gives sworn testimony, and lies, that’s perjury—and perjury is a crime. But when a senator lies about a witness, apparently that’s just called “asking questions.”

This is priceless. Check out how local news is reporting on Sen Eric Schmidt’s clown-show grilling of Jack Smith. They found Jack Smith at the game… “Top corner, section 109, row 1. In fact, that seat doesn’t even exist in Atlanta.”

Nothing illegal about being an ignorant or idiotic senator, but it's frustrating that voters in some states treat those qualities as an advantage when choosing their representatives. Looking at you, Darline Graham, Cindy Hyde-Smith, Ron Johnson, John Kennedy, Mike Lee, Tim Scott and Tommy Tuberville

Americans are watching Trump’s corruption and crimes in real time, so what do MAGA Republicans do? Hold a hearing to remind everyone of his past corruption and crimes. Democrats don’t have to lift a finger—the Republicans are doing their work for them. Genius.

What happened to Fetterman? Was it the stroke or was he always this way but hid it for electability? We’re talking about a politician, so consider the simplest explanation: money. Money drives political change. Check his finances: Has he gotten significantly wealthier since becoming a senator?

Trump is being extremely self-centered, as usual. Kaitlan Collins was at the event because she was covering it as a journalist, just as reporters from around the world were, since nearly 130 heads of state and government were attending a major United Nations meeting.

True. They supported Trumpism when they believed it benefited them, but now that circumstances have changed, they deny, downplay, or distance themselves from that earlier support. They’re all Dr. Frankenstein, trying to distance themselves from the monster they helped create.
