I kinda forgot how much I like Korn. Much like Deftones, Queens of the Stone Age, or Red Hot Chili Peppers, they remind me of home~ <3

*cough* I may have used... a little too much powder...!

Suddenly I feel inadequate... Bluesky is a double-edged sword. I follow people because I like their work and respect them as artists. Sometimes I feel inspired by their work, but it's always at a time when I can't act on it. Then, I look at it later and I think 'Why do I even try?'

I haven't drawn anything for myself lately, but I drew this last night and I really like it. I feel like I'm an ok singer. Probably not good enough to be in a band or anything, but I like to sing, regardless. It's one of my favorite things~ I started off doing a doodle, but then I really liked it~

This is the third part of a thing I did. I like this one the best~

I think I'm not afraid of death. What I am afraid of, is leaving everyone else behind. I've been left. I know how it feels. I don't want to put that on anyone else if I can help it~

I was terrified in 2024 and my boss, at the time, asked me 'What's the big deal? I voted for Trummp and he's gonna make all our lives better' Meanwhile, both HE AND i BOTH GOT LAID OFF AFTER TrUMP INSISTED NO ONE WOULD BE EFFECTECTED BY ANY TERRIFS. GUESS WHAT?

You mightt can't go wrong with voting Democrat this time, araound. but still, take a moment to look into their each backstory Your friends and neighbors are in danger. Do you remember the part in the bible where thy says love thy neibour?

I feel like I'm seeing ai rob people of thought in real time. The number of people that come in and say "I want to paint my walls. Ai (or, GPT) says I should use <this> color" Kind of infuriates me. There are so many resources you could pull from! Ai pulls from the lowest common denominator.

No one knows this place like I do. I know every last inch. What most people would call an imperfection, I see as a feature. It wasn't by choice that I got to know these details. No, there is a higher power that dictates my every movement. Despite my best efforts, I'm forced to comply. Whaauhh!

I'm stuck in the late 90's/early 2000's. Forgive me, but I'm stuck in terms of Nu Metal~ Deftones, Korn, System of a Down, before that, I listened to a lot of college rock! Two Princes is a SPAR

I know it's the day after, but I do feel like I should make note of the US's 250's anniversary. I want so badly to be happy about it, but I can't say I'm feeling patriotic, given the current situation. I expected more of the US. If I weren't so embarrassed in front of the rest of the world.

it's the moment no one was waiting for: EvilEngine's hot takes! Ocarina of Time is hideously overrated. It's not the best game of all time. It's not the best Zelda title. It's not even the best game from 1998. Now it's your turn: what's your gaming hot take?

I loved TADC but I will say that I had a few issues with the pacing. The whole first half, I kept feeling like I had missed something. It felt like there was more goin on off-screen than the montage let on. Besides that, I really enjoyed it~ I cried more than once

Sometimes I think, maybe I should have been an English major instead of art... except I hate reading!

JD/Cory @j-d86.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

I've been drawing for a long long time. I even went to school for it. Twice! I won't say school is pointless, but I don't think it's entirely necessary, either. There are principles and 'rules' you have to know. I've re-written this 4 times. All I wanted to say was that I hate drawing feet and shoes
