Lets get to know the crew of The Three Tomes since it's been awhile. ( 1/3) Tammy Harris Sia Choudhury Shirley Jogailla #indieanimation #thethreetomes #ocs #ocsky

Tammy Harris:
17 ( She/her)
CV: LaKira Porter

Nerdy, a bit of an introvert, and not the most confident.
Tammy would rather be at home watching anime
or playing Life Sim 2 all day with her OCs and daydreaming about monster boyfriends. She lives with her mom, and after
the recent death of her grandfather it’s left her a bit shaken
and uncertain about the future. Her best friend Sia always
has her back... but Sia’s after highschool plans aren’t exactly
the same as Tammy’s. Her status quo is shifting and she just wants things to be the same. It would be perfect to have all of her friends
and loved ones in her life and no one leaving her alone.
But now... throw magical powers, a primordial darkness
and affection from two vampires into the mix...
it makes life even more complicated.

Tammy's a witch now after reading from the Tome of Terra
and she's got to capture 13 spirits she unleashed or else
they'll wreak havoc across the town. She’s also got to figure out this whole romance thing along the way. ( Two boys... two hands... hmm..)

Sia Choudhury
17 ( They/Them)
CV: Anjali Kunapaneni

A chill persona. They’re Intelligent, assertive, adventurous
and a thrill seeker. Sia’s always trying to spice up suburban life
by dragging Tammy along on different adventures: Jumping into lake Michigan off a cliff by the beach, a dare to drive through the local alleged cult compound, and even filming a horror short to make some summer memories in a graveyard at night before highschool ends.

Sia is excited by Tammy's new powers and is always pushing
her to be more confident in herself. They've been her knight for years,
always protecting her. However, graduation is almost here and they want more than the small town of Bellfield can offer and to be rid of familial pressures. When magic comes into their lives it's a treat, but they're not too fond of the vampires on their heels.

There's a budding affection for Shirley who helps them along
the way , and a lingering affection and jealousy towards Tammy as they start to feel a bit left behind as the only normal human amongst the group. Either way... Sia’s going to enjoy
these magic hijinks for a fun summer before it all inevitably ends.

Shirley
16 ( She/Her)
CV: Saschel Idris

The apprentice Tome Keeper Witch. Bubbly, a little prideful
and sometimes a bit too eager to be the smartest person in the room. Shirley is the youngest trainee for a seat amongst the Tome Keeper Witches. A Coven of “Magick Users” who protect the world order
by guarding The Three Tomes. She’s lived her whole life in
the “Hidden Realm”: the world of Magicks and monsters. However she has a fascination with the human world through pop culture.
( It might be a little outdated though....)

She wants to prove to herself and the other witches around her that she can grow and be just like them. However, her eagerness leads
her to be prone to leaping into things before she looks. When given a task to guard the Tome of Terra by The Grand High Witch (Her Mentor)….she loses it in the human realm and finds it again in the hands of two human teens. Hopefully she can fix the mess she made without alerting the other witches.

It'll be fine... just gotta train this human to be a witch the right way.

The human’s best friend is also... really interesting
and honestly really cool.

Jogailla
17 ( he/him)
CV: Noah Belachew

(Yo-guy-uh) A flirtatious and mysterious young man that speaks as if he's always one step ahead of you. Even if he's incorrect he'll be confident in it. Jogailla’s been wandering this lifetime for quite awhile. (Big fan of daytime strolls. Sunscreen and the Umbrella helps)

Originally from a far off Eastern European nation, he is the sole survivor of his kin after a great tragedy struck. In his wanderings he came upon a legend of three ancient tomes with great power. He began to research witches magick and use it in his own way, although it's a little clumsy..being a vampire and all....

He's extremely eager to help Tammy and the gang with their quest to gather the tome spirits as It’s the only way to get what he wants. Vengeance. Tammy is the key, in order to end an ocean of loneliness that he carries. He’s fond of her, and possessive. Feelings for him usually are superficial.. but something about her is different...and it’s catching him off guard. However, the other vampire that appears to be in his way....he’s fun to tease and even nicer to look at (and flirt with).

But...he’s still a problem and interrupting his plans.

Howdy. Uhh.... Thank you so much everyone for your kindness
and helping us push to 100% funded for episode 2.
I meant to share this yesterday. But... yeah just... thank you.
I have a video version of this as well haha, but it’s long so writing
it for certain websites. But yeah thank you.

Telling this story about a bi black girl in the midwest... being loved.. and having her own fantasy adventure. it’s a dream. in a time when
it’s so hostile to black, brown and queer stories... i feel so blessed
to be able to do this with my team. i’m happy that working on the pilot has been fun and healing for those who helped out on that.
I’m grateful to those who when i was sad.. supported me and lifted
me back up. i just ... i keep repeating it but i couldn’t have done this without support from others. the kindness of everyone who pledged,
supported with shares, or even just emotionally....
thank you. my dear friends...my family... my husband being
my strongest supporter...Thank you. Just thank you truly.

The three tomes is a story that has been healing for me personally,
it reflects what i would have wanted to see as a young black nerdy teen.. who didn’t feel seen at all. I hope that this story can make others feel seen. black folks can be whimsical, magical,
queer in their own way and loved. thank you, and let’s rise towards those stretch goals.
thank you. thank you so much - bre
