What are we doing at the gas station? If it’s a snack run because I’m being lazy and want some lunch we’re getting a tuna sandwich or a roller hotdog. Now if there is going to be some hours of driving ahead of me peach ring gummies are mandatory and there will probably be some pringles as well.

We’ve had a resurgence of trick-or-treating. Lots of new families with kids have moved into the neighborhood the last few years. It helps we have two family members whose birthday is on Halloween and we also give full sized candy!

Happening in a new location? Does it add to the story to tell us? What journey are the characters on, both through the towns and in their lives? A lot of the games have had a tough time being both narratively satisfying while maintaining being distinctly silent hill.

I’m not not really sure what I want from a silent hill franchise game. We will always be living in the shadow of the masterpiece that is SH2. I really loved and hated a lot of SHf, nothing felt in the middle for me. But why is silent hill type horror of metaphor made physical type stuff /1

The shows aren’t really comedies as much as dramas that have a set dressing of sweary juvenile language and Tom & Jerry physical gags. It takes a while before you get to the characters opening up and becoming more sympathetic before hiding behind their masks again.

I can tell it’s getting plenty of light by the stem in the planter! I recently ruined one of my echeveria by *checks notes* putting it outside for the summer. Nothing a chop-and-prop won’t fix but it’s going to take some time to regrow.
