No one asked but I’ve abandoned my Goodreads and switched to Fable. Really loving the interface and the social aspect it opens up for readers—the visual element makes it extra motivating to get through my more challenging reads!

Not even that height difference can distract me from the fact that Margot needs to be like way younger (and less bursting with life) and Jacob needs to be a complete different ethnicity 😂 I’m not a purist by any means but this is not the take for me I fear

“Butting Heads at Work” Co-Workers/Forced Proximity Trope reigns supreme! I love when they roast each other in a professional setting. I want them to hate each other due to own prejudice and biases! Give me all the recs! :D #dramione

That said, is there such thing as a same-sex arranged marriage? Its motivations suggest cis pairings but I’d love to know!

izzo 🍒 @izzo.bsky.social · 10/07/2025

LOVE an arranged marriage trope of only for the moment he discovers he’s in love with his wIFE 😩

I can’t be the only one who reads 5 or so books from a single romance subgenre before I’m able to move on 😂🚌 Here’s my year so far: Holiday Romance ➡️ Sports (Hockey) Romance ➡️ C-Suite Romance ➡️ Romantasy ➡️ Contemporary Romance ➡️ Alien Romance ➡️ Monsterfucking ➡️ Period Romance 🤪

Life’s been nuts since quitting my job. I thought that would mean I’d have all the time for fandom, but somehow it’s translated into me entertaining all these “someday” projects I’ve dreamt of since my teens apart from fandom, including writing original fiction. Am I crazy? That’s crazy right?

izzo 🍒 @izzo.bsky.social · 04/04/2025

Thought I’d get into sci-fi for a change and accidentally stumbled upon… alien romance?? What’s the genre called? 🤪 And it was surprisingly fun! I do wonder, why do we create aliens and monsters in our own likeness? Is it an ego thing, or do we just wanna get freaky with everyone in every universe?

PART 3 of my little Panville drabble series! Read from the beginning: bsky.app/profile/cait... --- It’s not that the case Pansy carried was heavy, in fact, it and the relic nestled inside weren’t heavy at all. The magic cocooning the relic inside the case was a different matter, however.

🤣🤣 But then they get caught and the journalist becomes the news item! Accused of sleeping with the enemy 😂 She has a scarlet letter and feels like she’s lost all credibility!!!

Thank you!! I’m so glad 🥰🥰🥰

Oh thank you so much!!! Ollie is all @artofcrumbs.bsky.social —and this fic would not have existed without her amazing art!

HELP 🥵 And did we mention Nev’s not from her city, and so begins a whirlwind long distance flirtation that has her covering his games without ever asking What Are We?!

And then he suggests they go out and finish their interview somewhere more private… yknow, so they can… talk And it’s her turn to blush bc she got it all on tape too 😂😂 She listens to it on repeat

She would forget all her questions let’s be real hahahahahaha

In fic I think because we have preconceived notions of what a character is like, it’s harder to write and engage with a first person POV. The exception might be (and I’ve done this) when the character is lesser known/less popular to write/read, because then there is more wiggle room.

Heck it made ME feel better
