My native Sicily. Mazara del Vallo, closer to Tunisia than Italy. Due to fishing, in the 80s, its Tunisian population increased a lot, interracial marriages became normal and the first mosque in Italy was built. Mazara is a place of cooperation and inclusion #travelbloggerscommunity #traveladdicts

This is the inside courtyard of the church of Santa Caterina. You can go up the stairs to view it from above and if you keep climbing, you'll be rewarded with an incredible bird eye view of the surrounding area, which i posted before. There's also a pasty shop run by the nuns!

It's one of my favourite churches when I go home, there is a courtyard inside and a pastry shop run by the nuns!
