I submit: turning Spark Rupture into a creature and then a planeswalker. Doesn't do anything because Enter the Eternities doesn't preserve the creatures original text but still makes me laugh

Starfield of Nyx {4}{W}

Enchantment

At the beginning of your upkeep, you may return target enchantment card from your graveyard to the battlefield.

As long as you control five or more enchantments, each other non-Aura enchantment you control is a creature in addition to its other types and has base power and base toughness each equal to its mana value.

Ended 2-1 overall and had a blast! Got to cast my Craftwork Crusher twice in one game with my own Unsummon! Red Kiora is also insane!

Craftwork Crusher {3}{R}{R}{G}{G}

Artifact Creature — Boar Construct

Trample

When this creature enters, choose two —

• This creature deals 4 damage to target creature or planeswalker.

• Create a 2/2 colorless Wizard Soldier creature token named Cadet.

• Draw a card.
7/5

Unsummon {U}

Instant

Return target creature to its owner’s hand.

We opened really good blue/red rares but very little else in UR! Padding things out with a LOT of green and fixing! Hoping to cast a Craftwork Crusher once! :)

Why is this card in the set? What is this? There's technically a lich in the set with Opal, but this has nothing to do with her? Is this a colorshifted equipment and I'm missing the reference? Surely not. Feels so weird and out of place.

Lich's Relic {B}

Artifact — Equipment

When this Equipment enters, you may pay {2}. When you do, for each opponent, destroy up to one target creature or planeswalker that player controls.

Equipped creature gets +2/+1.

MTG really said "hot single grandpas in your area"

All of this is still true, even after Edgar's recent failed wedding/power grab. Freshly single, he has taken to mingling in the seedy taverns of Havengul. Some may call this hiding, but make no mistake—Edgar awaits his next chance to strike.

"You can't handle this smoke, white boy" -Jadzi to Jace, episode 2 #Vorthos

The Theorist gasps for air. He feels like he's drowning in potential.

Jadzi laughs. "It's fun in there, isn't it?"

The Theorist feels his headache coming back.

The other part of prior story that I can't stop thinking about... #Vorthos

Text from Episode 2 of the OTJ Epilogue by Alison Lührs, "Bring the End". It reads:
They meet eyes.

What is next? Jace remembers his mother's question, is that your wife? The vision he holds of her in Vrynian formals, his family's blues and patterns complementing the green of her skin. He imagines a child of their own. The look in her eyes says that she imagines a similar future.

"You'd make a phenomenal parent." She says.

My favorite netrunner bit: When they said "any/all pronouns" they fucking MEANT IT. Not to rag on MtG, but Magic could never 😅

The character lore card for a Netrunner character named Ryō "Phoenix" Ōno whose pronouns are listed as any/all:
"Phoenix waved goodbye as his parents 'enrolled' xim in Nebula's Protostar program for young performers. For the next decade, Nebula controlled eir education, diet, health, dress, and friends, modeling her to be the next big pop idol. Under pressure to succeed and the absolute control of NBN, ze went supernova. It ran away from everything, escaping to the slums of Kota Kalimantan. Now, their only goal in life is to burn down everything Nebula stands for, before burning out emself."

For the unititiated: back during Mirrodin Besieged block, WotC wanted to advertise for the set after the Mirrodin-Phyrexian conflict, but not reveal the victor! As such, a lot of promotional material advertised the fight could go either way. With "Mirrodin Pure" being the Mirrodin Victory. #Vorthos
