another day, another “I’m going to bed in my makeup because I’m too lazy to take it off”

30 2/2 a fancy new model or anything. See if you even LIKE streaming. And you need to understand not everyone will succeed. This includes you. Not everyone will explode or get “lucky.” This includes you. The people who get “lucky” have several factors going for them.

Iris Vallod 🩵🍓 @iwis.bsky.social · 22/10/2024

30. If you’re new, just stream stream stream! And watch back your own VODs. If you aren’t entertained watching yourself, why should anyone? Your first enemy to conquer is yourself. Listen for audio issues, watch for bitrate fluctuations, notice when you get bored and why. Don’t wait for

29. 1.0 Iris was me telling thecherrytree.bsky.social I want to be a blue haired vampire with elfish ears. I wanted a sweater and jeans. Nice and simple. 2.0 Iris I was like mama this is the vibe I want! And she designed for me several options. She did amazing 🩵🩵

28. Dancing … yes and no? Haha. I can follow choreography but I can’t really do anything fancy.

26. I unfortunately cannot justify vtubing full time. If I had more income streams, maybe, but I still currently need my day job full time for survival 😞

25. I haven’t designed a mascot yet … I’ve been thinking about one for a while. I don’t want to take the easy route but I don’t want something that doesn’t fit me …. The struggles. Mascots weren’t as common when I debuted almost 4 years ago lol.

24. I am a vampire! A sleepy one! An eternally reincarnating one! I am born to a human family and once I safely reach adulthood I remember myself.

100

Iris Vallod 🩵🍓 @iwis.bsky.social · 21/10/2024

23. I stream and then some streams get cut into videos. I need to branch out into recording stuff meant for YouTube though 😖

22. I did have a debut stream! The VOD is available on YouTube. My embarrassing past … I won’t hide it!

21. I don’t typically have a favorite food, I’ll eat something every day for 6 months until it gives me the ick. Current favorite is probably white rice.

Iris Vallod 🩵🍓 @iwis.bsky.social · 21/10/2024

20. I am indie, but you never know in the future where things might lead. Sometimes I really struggle with keeping myself on track.

100

Iris Vallod 🩵🍓 @iwis.bsky.social · 21/10/2024

19. I am not in a ‘group’ but I feel like I’m falling into a friend circle? A group seems fun but also feels like it makes it easy to stop branching out and meeting new people since you have your friends already.

100

Iris Vallod 🩵🍓 @iwis.bsky.social · 21/10/2024

18. I have no weird fears. Only valid fears. My worst one is definitely the Native American spirit involved with cannibalism that you cannot say the name of or it attracts to you. Absolutely not. The white demon looking thing in Mortuary Assistant looks like it. The main scary in Until Dawn. Nope!

17. I honestly don’t care how people refer to me. I’ll respond to anything. I used she/her for a while but honestly she/they feels more fitting … I’m a little creature.

16. My goal is to foster a community of people who form connections so tight they don’t even need me as the focus anymore. I want people to bond over me and become besties. Also, be able to do this full time and focus all of my energy on it!

15. Iris is a really short name so I didn’t expect nicknames, but I am also affectionately known as Iwis. My friend T tried out Ivy, mixing the I in Iris with the V in Vallod. It didn’t stick. Another friend, PaladinPoko, bestowed upon me the name imbles. I think of it often and fondly.

12. I have lots of hobbies! I end up trying lots of things. Sticking with them, not so much. Lately I’ve gotten into henna! Also been trying to get back into reading as well. I also used to write a lot as well, but I fell out of that. I might come back soon… I used to love it so much. Also D&D!!!!

1. My favorite vtuber is probably Kuzuha from Nijisanji! He’s one of my biggest inspirations. For English vtubers, it’s definitely Fuufie. She can hold my attention for HOURS and that’s a talent for sure!
