The perpetual drama of survival in the urban jungle plays out once again as another innocent victim is unaware of their imminent demise....;?)

Another hot and sunny day in Thailand, but at least I've got my favorite place to relax and stay cool 😉

Great piece, Brooks and Capehart don't hold back, the rest of the mainstream media should be following their lead!!!

Currently in Thailand in a town called Sam Roi Yot (Mountains of 300 Peaks), the Phraya Nakhon Cave is about 15 km from my apartment ;?) The hike in was a bit of a slog up and down some very steep and craggy stairs (24 hrs later my legs/knees are still sore lol), but well worth it!

One more floral find and then the last one I felt crawling across my arm as I was uploading these to FB (a baby scorpion and now a dead one lol, sorry but I do not like them in my house and less so on my person).

Out on a walk around Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, came across these beauties.

So my time in Ukraine is ending soon, hard to believe I've been here nearly 3 months already smh! I encourage anyone considering the trip to come to Lviv and support the brave people of Ukraine, I found it a wonderful experience and will probably come back next year, maybe in April, SLAVA UKRAINI!!

At the Motherland Monument in Kyiv Ukraine last night, hard to tell its actual size but it actually slightly larger than the Statue of Liberty ;?)

FANTASTIC!!! I hope this makes all the headlines around the world!!! Tyrant tRump must be shown that the world stands TOGETHER-UNITED against his attempts to create a fascist America!!!

So the ladies at the camo-net group loved the last pie I made so much they kept asking me to make another but since I had to hand-puree the pumpkins last time I wasn't so keen on the idea till one of them loaned me a blender lol. Also used store-bought puff pastry, hope it turns out, vamos a ver ;?D

This was a very nice surprise, the organization I'm working for treated us to an Independence Day concert by the Lviv Philharmonic who were amazing! Here's a small excerpt, the only "sour note" was Harry Dunne's head directly in front of me lolol ;?D

Another net completed (averaging 3-4 a day now). There are about a dozen or so full time Ukrainians and then throughout the day volunteers from a lot of countries come by. Most are only there for a few days to a week or two, while at three weeks I’m becoming one of the old timers ;?D

At 2am last night there was another air raid alert, it was the 2nd largest of the war with nearly 600 combined drones/missiles. Ukrainian air defense was able to destroy most of them. Here in Lviv I actually heard a few of the drones flying by and heard the explosions as they were intercepted.💙

This is Ukraine. A nation that doesn't seek to take what is not ours not even from Russia — the very country that invaded us. And to those who dare to pressure Ukraine into surrendering its land: start with yourselves. If you believe Russia deserves territory, then give them a piece of your country.

I Will Fear No Evil @iwillfearnoevil.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

😊 FUN FACT 😊 For all you Star Wars fans out there, in Ukraine after an air raid alert has been canceled the phone app sounds a siren and then Mark Hamill’s voice announces, "Attention. The alert is over. MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!" This online map shows alert areas and even tracks drones/missiles 😎👍

Out for a morning walk in Pamporovo, managed 3 miles today (calf is on the mend but not QUITE there yet ;?) and I saw more beautiful flowers and their buggy friends ;?D The two middle pics are of a beautiful member of the daisy family and as you can see the pollinators just LOVE it ;?)

I'm TIRED of people sharing ridiculous AI generated content! WHO CARES HOW CUTE THE KITTEN'S AND PUPPIES ARE with their big FAKE eyeballs staring up adorably, it's all ARTIFICE so why share it? GET REAL and I mean that in every sense, AI is FAKE and it's killing REAL content from REAL people!

Some more nature stuff including some wild edibles and in particular these Alpine Strawberries, tiny lint very tasty (though it’d take over a dozen to make one normal strawberry ;?)

Out for a crutchy walk today in Pamporovo and saw some amazing nature stuff lol. Got a video clip of a Hummingbird Moth, which I'd caught glimpses of before and thought they were the real thing BUT apparently there are NO hummingbirds in Europe, who knew ;?)

..to brown it for 5 min and it came out looking like this ;?D It needed a bit more yeast and time on the second rise but did come out moist and not too dense, so at least the wheat/chia bread works 👍

WHY are people following BOTS ON BS? Is it just follow farmers too lazy to vet or is there a reasons why you'd follow a BOT when there are MILLIONS of real, intelligent and talent people/artist here on Bluesky??? Seriously just don't get it, they're taking our jobs ffs, don't encourage them ;?D

I Will Fear No Evil @iwillfearnoevil.bsky.social · 28/06/2025

Here's an ad with a FAKE AI IMAGE, why? Cuz it's easier to have AI make an image than actually shoot it! Look at the fabric behind the neck and the grey outline which is an obvious artifact and then the sides of the shirt are PERFECTLY straight. Ran it through the AI detector and it agreed, smfh😠

020

I Will Fear No Evil @iwillfearnoevil.bsky.social · 28/06/2025

I'm getting so SICK AND TIRED of these FAKE AI generated images that so many FB pages are creating just for views/shares!!! If you see something that looks too good to be true, like in this image where there's a PERFECT PHOTO of something that should likely be in a MUSEUM then use your...

Did I mention how much I LOVE ChatGPT? It's amazing, yesterday I discovered it's coding ability and it helped me create an app that runs on my phone/laptop, and now I learned how to rip videos from BS (cuz they can be really fiddly due to how they upload/play in stitched pieces, so I ripped this 😁

With limited supplies cuz 1) I'm in a Bulgarian Airbnb not equipped for baking, 2) I'm unable to go shopping for a week cuz of my injury, I'm trying to make cinnamon rolls with no regular flour, no rolling pin AND need to tackle the lack of gluten in whole wheat dough so tangzhong/autolyse maybe?

I Will Fear No Evil @iwillfearnoevil.bsky.social · 23/06/2025

LOTS of ladybugs everywhere you look, think there’s 5 in this pic, and the last pic is of large 6’-8’ holes made by a woodpecker and a really big one if hole size indicates anything (Bulgarian W.O.U.S.’s 😆).

So discovered I can bake yeast wheat/chia bread without an oven, used 2 frying pans with a water bath to avoid scorching then after 30 min finished with dry heat then browned under the grill function of the microwave, came out soft and amazingly delish 🤯🥳😋 So when there’s no oven try this 👍🏻
