The vast majority of generative AI (images, music and videos etc) is made in data centers. Yeah, AI could prove useful for certain things, but they are not the things that will make the tech oligarchy even more rich and powerful.

Just when I think this administration could not sink any lower, they wheel out live-streamed executions. Their depravity isn't even shocking anymore. It's just sad and pathetic. And clearly, part of the reason they are doing this is to send a message to muslims in general. Truly sickening.

No you couldn't. Also, generative AI is built on stolen creativity. The massive job losses within creative fields is already well documented. It ruins the lives of people who have to live next to data centers, It polutes the environment, and it solidifies the tech oligarchy. That's the real harm.

The vast majority of generative AI is produced in data centers. This is a very complex animation that required MASSIVE computing power to create. The chances that it was made at home is microscopic. Also it's not about whether it would confuse anybody it's about the damage that AI does in general.

There are many ways to express discontent. AI should not be one of them. It is hugely damaging to people's lives, the environment, and it helps solidify the power of the tech oligarchy. It is a MASSIVE disconnect for anyone on the left to use something that has so many negative effects. Sorry.
