It's hard for me to say if the game is easier or I'm just better. The fact is the game just came out with High Rank and the vast majority of the time I spent in Worlds and Rise was G Rank. I'm completely ANNIHILATING Rathian and Rathalos because I've fought their move set hundreds of times before.

I haven't seen this information anywhere else about Wilds IF YOU LAY DOWN A TRAP AND IT DOESN'T GET TRIGGERED YOU CAN PICK IT BACK UP AND IT GOES BACK TO YOUR INVENTORY Discovered this by complete accident trying to catch a Rathian. Don't worry about accidentally missing your traps!

Worlds is always worth it, but going any further back might feel clunky. Worlds definitely broke the mold with its gameplay, and fighting might feel a bit too slow with the way the old games work. Definitely worth a shot though! All in all the core gameplay loop remains.

Got to Tempered Monsters in Wilds and the game finally feels like it actually takes effort to kill the monsters. Not sure if it's just because of my experience with the series or spending so much time in G-rank, but I've haven't had a monster take much more than ten minutes until now.

Fun fact, if you're in single player mode you CAN pause the game in Wilds! Of course it's hidden in the menus and awkward to get to in the middle of a fight, but it is possible.

I am so utterly thrilled to release season two’s finale tomorrow! As you guys know this was a massive season that took a very long time to produce/release. I want to say this now to let people enjoy this finale as the last big thing of the year, but yes, it will be quite a wait before season three.

I was playing a Thaumaturge/Champion (weapon/regalia), we had a two weapon fighter, longbow/Beastmaster Ranger and a Druid/Beastmaster. DM occasionally threw a witch NPC. Super impressed with how my Thaumaturge played, was tons of fun and had a bunch of buffing/debuffing options.

I can appreciate wanting to bend a ruleset you're really familiar with to fit your playstyle, but at some point you really just gotta look at other systems. I'm infinitely more familiar with DnD 5e than Pathfinder 2e, but having a LOT more fun with the crunch and design of PF2e.
