Very excited to see what Revelation does to Birth of a God, that’s probably my favorite track from the original game

AI assisted PR/issues appears to be quickly damaging what’s remaining of good energy and interactions in open source software maintenance. An extra year of this trajectory toward laziness in interactions and I can picture communities switching to invite-only or paying-only.

It’s genuinely draining to see people shit on the size of the R1 community. It invalidates all the love and dedication we have for this game. It invalidates all the effort TOs put in to running tournaments.

xemu has 19x the amount of games they're starting with. 224x if you're willing to settle for "playable" over "perfect", which i'd expect microsoft's first party implementation to amount to tbh. plus you're not giving microsoft any money, which you shouldn't.

Seeing Linus Torvalds be as accepting of generative AI as he is concerns me. I won't deny that in theory, it could be an incredibly powerful and useful tool. However, the execution has far too many issues for me to even begin to list them. As it stands, generative AI is actively killing computing.
