Ashness Bridge is a packhorse bridge built in the 18th century. It crosses Barrow Beck on the road between Keswick and the village of Watendlath. In the background are Derwent Water and Skiddaw.

Budakirkja church, a black wooden church in the Snaefellsnes peninsula of Iceland. #budakirkja #snaefellsnes #iceland #mono #b&w #black&whitephotography #photography #landscape

Budakirkja was originally built in 1848 and it still used today by the local community. It was reconstructed in 1987 to preserve its original design. It has seating for 50 people, has no heating but does have an organ and two bells in the tower. Part of the beauty of the church is the way it sits in the local landscape.
