watched the first episode of Black Cat today, and no flame to Seraph but after watching it I finally know what a good english dub is supposed to sound like lmaoo it seems promising, I'll see how the next 4 episodes treat it before another update (if anyone's wondering about my seraph review, 7/10)

update I've been feeling a lot more tired than usual lately, dont think its anything i need to be concerned about medically but I just haven't had the energy to do...really anything I want to either play thracia 776 or watch Black Cat...or both, but I dont want to start until I'm in the mood to

000

Ivy @ivymage.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

starting seraph part 2 lots of stuff going on irl but I want to at least do something creative

000

Ivy @ivymage.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

just finished Part 1 of Seraph of the End the dub was throwing me off for the first 9 episodes, felt like the music was off point and the voices were too cliche around ep10 it started to clean up a bit, then ep11 was actual peak fiction, and 12 was also really good idk what to do next tho >_>

I suuuck at art so I'm mainly starting out looking for the type of discs/cases I would need as for the shows, Lain & FLCL would most likely the first two I would try out

110

Ivy @ivymage.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

I'm still in very early stages of it (only ones I know I want to do for sure are Lain/FLCL) but I'll def save this for later!

robin looks like he's just used to it XD

Ivy @ivymage.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

Finished the first two episodes of Seraph, and I'm kinda mixed right now the plot seems good, the characters have good designs, the anime itself looks nice, and the story progresses normally ...but the dub is the most wavery thing ever, sometimes decent sometimes awful we'll see more tomorrow

Ivy @ivymage.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

I managed to get HDR working on Eden today while it isnt at a constant 60, it is "playable" offline so I decided to test a few characters I really, REALLY hate what they did to tink/sheik, they feel nothing like any of their other iterations chrom is like the coolest character ever though so...

llod winning GOML means so much to me, him entering SDA in 2018 happened to be one of the first smash streams I ever saw him (and kie!) proving that peach is a playable inspired me to start playing smash, and seeing his 2 decades of hard work makes me think everything is worth it in the end

Ivy @ivymage.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

some updates: - still stalling on Seraph, just have a lot of things irl - custom build is going well so far, only hiccup at the moment is that an old PS2 texture is not working properly (below) - I'm going to be looking at brawl more seriously, sheik/marth is the planned combo till next time!

wish we could have made it past the RO16, but oh well~ can't say belgium didn't deserve it, but god damn that goalie error crushed everyone's hopes at the watch party :/ next best option is England, giving them full support!

at a hard time in my life right now, not sure if I'll make it out but I'll try as hard as I can in other news, finished Lain, Howl's Moving Castle and Kikis Delivery Service the latter two were pretty good but holy fuck Lain is probably the best show I've ever watched wonder what's next for me...

000

Ivy @ivymage.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

finished FlCl honestly was out of it for the first episode but I'm glad I continued, it was a pretty good watch very unique in its own way, unfortunately makes it hard to recommend I'd give a 7/10, Lain's probably next (or maybe stranger by the shore)
