I hate all of this so much. Doctors need to listen. I told them in June, "something isn't right with my leg, it feels off" I had just gotten out of the hospital for the tube that was infected. I just got a call that they found the same infection in my leg. I told them. They told me to "be patient"

Ok, made it home groom the doctor. They did a culture, but this nurse doesn't think it looks infected at all. So, NO HOSPITAL!!! Thank you for all the good thoughts, prayers, etc. I really appreciate it❤️

Had my first "incident" today at the grocery store. There may have been some sort of spectrum disorder or something, so I didn't say anything, but this grown looking 20 something just standing at the self checkout, not using it, but just staring at me. I tried to go around, he turned to stare at me.

Hopefully i can go home today. I'm literally medically cleared as of Tuesday, we're just waiting on insurance to clear a few things. So that's efficient🙄 They didn't take my dinner order, so that's a good sign.

I'm medically clear to go home, but it probably won't be today. There's a certain dressing and wound vac that my insurance covers and it has to be delivered in the hospital. I have to carry it home, and not use it until the nurse comes to do it. So ridiculous.

I had the amputation in this hospital, with this doctor one year ago yesterday. They're acting like I'm brand new to this. "You're doing so good!" Yesterday they had me use the wheelchair and do a lap around the unit to test me. They're surprised when I can do stuff. It's weird😄

Successful small surgery that didn't turn into a big surgery😄 The concern was that they were doing to have to take more of my leg. That didn't happen.

Little bit of an update. They admitted me, as we all thought my leg was infected. It's not. So that's good. I did talk to the surgeon and he wants to do a small revision tomorrow, so I'll be here until probably Monday.

And hey if your doc has a lot of merch in their office for an rx you take? Notepads & the like? They likely have sample packs on hand. Talk about insecurity given the state of the world and they will likely gladly fork some over as an emergency stash.

5 years ago today, w had put postponed covid wedding in Vegas❤️ Our 7 guest and our officiant, all masked up! We were allowed to not wear them during the ceremony, and when we were actively taking pictures.

#FamilyDinnerSeptember2026 My mom didn't cook, so this is my best throw together dinner😄 Creamy chicken sausage orzo pasta. Mix chicken sausage, onion, half a box of orzo and two cups chicken stock. When it's almost done, 1/2 cube light cream cheese, a little mozzarella and spinach.
