Also, played a Star Wars Unlimited prerelease at my LGS. It's a pretty fun alternative to MTG! I just really wished it wasn't the starwars IP. Nothing against it, I personally don't find it to suit my tastes.

The curse of retail being I'm exposed to disease from customers not covering their mouth when coughing 💀 I've been around, lately trying to improve my health by eating better and exercising. Art is still on the backburner, but something I'm really wanting to return to. I'm hoping sooner than later.

Birthday today! I'm still around, just adjusting to things. I've gotten a job now (retail) and I'm working as my best self (not going boy mode.) Everyone's been super kind with my identity. I'm still wanting to do art again, but I haven't found that ambition yet. Def want to do traditional tho!

Thank you~ Your watercolors are wonderful! I definitely agree with both benefitting each other. I had fallen into my perfectionist mindset when drawing only digitally for several years. That's my personal hurdle and traditional definitely helps me overcome that.

My art hiatus might go on for a bit longer. There has been mental strains lately and unfortunately art is one of them. I plan to reset my process and return to basics of line and shape practice (but traditionally!) I'm still alive! It's just been difficult lately.

It's been a week after surgery and I'm feeling pretty good! I haven't taken pain meds since the second day. Some awkward pains but nothing too bad. Been thinking a lot about this year; how disappointed I've been in my creative pursuit with my anxiety issues. Inactivity has made drawing hard :(

Surgery went well! Now it's time to recover. No more gallbladder pain (although the surgical pains are eeriely similar to gallbladder pain)

I was shocked that they told me the surgery was only 30 minutes to an hour. The surgeon's whole spiel on the operation answered all of my questions pretty thoroughly too.

My art will (mostly) be put on hold until 2026. There's been a lot going on this year and I cant really handle being creative right now. My gallbladder surgery is scheduled for next month, and even though it's a common surgery I'm still anxious.

I was hoping to get back into the groove of art with these prompts, but life has had other plans. My mother has had major surgery and I've been taking care of her barn animals. Her cat tripped me causing me to hit the ground without catching myself (unless you call my right elbow catching myself.)

Vent Art: Overwhelmed Being hit with a deluge of emotions with zero time to cope before the next downpour. Been consuming too many chocolate candies, which are definitely not good for my faulty gallbladder.

Some D&D (Fabula Ultima) characters! The Capy is my Bloodwitch, Ailana along with her familiar, Nib the leech. The sniper cat is Katarzyna "Kat" Słoniną, belong to a campaign member. I had sketched her out during a combat and touched up a little afterwards.

Ailana is a capybara woman with dark brown hair with red highlights. She's wearing a dark red camisole top and little bits of jewelry on her wrist. There's a patch of fur missing on her shoulder.

I've been playing Destiny 2 and preparing for the contest raid race this weekend for the past several weeks. Our team got 2/4 encounters done in the 48 hours given (completely blind!) I'll be getting back to the artwork soon!
