The bears are taking ozempic and becoming otters. the otters are getting laser and becoming twinks. the twinks are injecting E and becoming dolls. the dolls are getting their hair cut and becoming butches. And the butches, the butches are taking T and becoming bears

Aha! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western...
Although it occurs at least occasionally nationwide, T-glottalization at word boundaries, as in "right ankle", is more common in Western dialects, particularly among younger speakers and women.!"!! The use of a full (orally released) rather than syllabic pronunciation of /an/ in the sequence /-tan/, in words like "kitten" or
"mountain", is a minor but noted variant reported in the West, for example among some Californians and younger, female Utah speakers;
(12) thus, kitten as ['k"I?an] in addition to more General American ['k'I?n]; however, this feature has also been reported elsewhere in the country, like New Jersey. 131 Men and teenage girls from Utah are also slightly more likely than average to elide the /t/ altogether in these words, and Utahns as a whole are slightly less likely to glottalize the /t/ in general. This was the most rigorous citation on the first few pages of Google (not verifiable on Google Books; no library because holiday). Wikipedia makes no mention of rape, kidnapping, or murder in “Arianism,” “Arian controversy,” or the relevant bit of “Sectarian violence among Christians.”
Giving official sanction to one particular view, however, set the stage for a good deal of bloodshed. Historian Ralph Martin Novak, Jr., notes:
By adopting a statement of "orthodox
Christian belief," the bishops who prevailed at Nicaea drew a line in the sand with respect to all other forms of Christian belief. Christians who refused to adopt the orthodoxy defined at Nicaea would eventually be required to pay for their "heretical" beliefs in blood: more Christians died at the hands of Christians during the seventy-five years following the council of Nicaea than had died as martyrs under the almost three hundred years of Roman persecution. 13. Because the Turkish Airline provided free travel benefits worth tens of thousands of dollars to ERIC ADAMS, the defendant, he flew the Turkish Airline even when doing so was otherwise inconvenient. For example, during the July and August 2017 trip, Adams's Partner was surprised to learn that ADAMS was in Turkey when she had understood him to be flying from New York to France. ADAMS responded, in a text message, "Transferring here. You know first
stop is always instanbul [sic]." When Adams's Partner later inquired about planning a trip to Easter Island, Chile, ADAMS repeatedly asked her whether the Turkish Airline could be used for their flights, requiring her to call the Turkish Airline to confirm that they did not have routes between New York and Chile.

Robinson: I've been doing what I've been doing for a very long time. I have never encountered any asperity, any rudeness. I have found that if I satisfy what I think are reasonable standards of intellectual rigor, I can get on in the world perfectly well.
We were talking about fear before, and many people who are Christian, they will say: Weren't you afraid? Weren't you afraid to write a book like that? Weren't you afraid that you would be ridiculed by professors or something?
I did the thing I wanted to do. I never encountered any punitive response in the outside world. If you're polite and reasonable, you can very much go against the grain, and nobody is going to say boo.

Cardinal Müller sat behind the American front-runner in the Sistine Chapel and noticed that he seemed calm. Cardinal Tagle, who sat next to Cardinal Prevost, noticed him taking deep breaths as votes amassed in his favor.
"I asked him, 'Do you want a candy?' and he said 'Yes," Cardinal Tagle said.
During one of the votes, Cardinal Tobin, as he held his ballot high and put it in the urn, turned and saw Cardinal Prevost, whom he had known for about 30 years.
"I took a look at Bob," Cardinal Tobin of New Jersey said, "and he had his head in his hands."

this was our choir director’s Holy Week “pep talk” (borrowed in turn from someone else) but it’s pretty good advice generally
A few thoughts during this busy and most sacred week.
- Get lots of rest and eat and drink enough to sustain your energy.
- Stretch. Wear comfortable shoes.
- If you have a job to do in church, do that job or task. Don't worry about someone else's job.
- This week calls for hours of elite musical performance usually offered by a handful of volunteer singers and musicians. Be kind and charitable.
- If you're leading the singing, the musicians will make mistakes. Forgive early and often and ask forgiveness for your errors.
- Don't compare your parish's services with those streamed online. Be thankful for the people God has gathered in your community.
- Smile.
- The entire week is a celebration of what God has done for us. There is nothing you can do to match God's efforts. Be thankful and think about how you can bear witness to incomparable love in your life and community.
- Welcome visitors.
- You're a person and a Christian outside of church. Take a walk. Plant something. Do a load of laundry. Play with your kids. Hug your spouse. Read a book. Be light in every activity.
- Consider the old-timers at your parish. They have seen many Holy Weeks and Paschas. Watch them and, if opportunity permits, ask them to share their memories of past holidays.
- Keep an eye out for lonely people. Holidays can be painful for many mourning the loss of loved ones. Even a quick hello with a smile can go a long way.
- When it's time to feast, dig in - but remember that you will eat again tomorrow. So don't make yourself sick.
- This life of yours - short, intense, and most precious - is finite. God created you to live for eternity. Make the most of this life.
