It's so fucking cool that my rapist is still out there with a cushy job basically none the worse for wear while I'm about to have to spend another night on the streets having to risk constant subway travel to stay warm it's so awesome

Fun fact, I called the rescue place I got Lily from about emergency boarding options and the lady noted that they were about full capacity and they could look into surrender options until she asked if she was an Emotional Support Animal oh BOY did that turn the call mood around

Despite my case worker not being in I did get confirmation on an emergency boarding for Lily and I'll be contacted about that. In the meantime... it might be best to get a room for the weekend so I can spend some time with her, she'll likely be gone for a bit while my own shelter options clear.
