Been having a geekout and remade an old Windows wallpaper from the early 1990's. 'Chess' is technically considered the 'Bliss' of its day, though it only lasted for one release of Windows, Windows 3.0 #sourcefilmmaker #MicrosoftWindows #Chess

A 3D render of a giant chess board tilted on its side within a dark void, with multi-coloured chess pieces visibly shown suspended in mid-air in the suggestion of the board being tumbled.

A Jumbo Santa Freddy plushie has been spotted on Target’s website! He’ll be part of the seasonal plush line, which shares shelf space with the mainline plushies. Seasonal plushies also have a shelf life of around four months, so don’t miss out on this big jolly bear!

A little turnaround preview of my Roblox avatar, TV Head Ricky or Boxhead Ricky (Never really made up my mind on his name). Thought I'd upload to show how he looks from multiple angles. I plan to possible make some small test animations with him

Update: seems Neocities is back, Woohoo! Now I can make a small update to my site Feel free to explore mine, I could do with some critique: itsrickyschannel.neocities.org

Also its just a bad argument. A golf course is made of grass - something that with plenty of land, actually helps with the planet with clean air/oxygen and help keep CO2 low, while a datacenter, especially the big ones they keep wanting to build, need energy and pollute the air and water.

Neocities is still down where I am. Atleast I know its not just me. Been using a VPN to access. I did check and the servers hosting the actual websites is back up in the UK at least, but the main site with the backend is still down and no updates from @neocities.org about it. Hello?

ItsRickysChannel @itsrickyschannel.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

I think they are having a service outtage. Their hosted websites work if you run a VPN but the backend/main site is still spotty.

ItsRickysChannel @itsrickyschannel.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

The server hosts they use are down in some parts of Europe. I used a VPN and it seems to run in the Netherlands, but not in France, as well as the UK. SO I think they are having issues with their service host.

Have you tried making mockups? If you have something like PowerPoint, Canva, or something similar it can give you an idea of what you want to do.

Its happening to me too. I really thought I was going nuts. I tried using a VPN and some websites do run, just not the backend. Interestingly, I found out the server they use to host the websites is different from their main site. Really annoying when you want to update your site tho.

So as an update @neocities.org is struggling to load on my end. Based on a reddit discussion, checking some down detecting sites Neocities is still atleast in the UK. I've tested a VPN and it seems to work in some places, not so much in other places.

Why did they have to make 'AI' cute here? Demonic tech should look like demonic tech, not shaped like your friend 😭

But the idea of limiting an edit to 5 minutes doesn't make sense when 4 ideas down, you are considering adding an edit version history feed. Just go with plan 5. That's all you need.

I wouldn't consider 1-5 top blocked accounts, lack of any links or sources to AI content as AI being 'deep fried' into this platform. The vibe coding part is a different matter however.

Like, where's the link to an AI chatbot in the sidebar? Where is there an AI "Edit Image" icon next to a media post? For now, I haven't experienced AI or bot spam in my own feed. I cannot go a 2 minute doomscroll on Twitter without seeing gen-ai or a grok promo in my homefeed.

ItsRickysChannel @itsrickyschannel.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

From what I just searched, according to ClearSky, 3 of the top 5 blocked sites are mainly political pages, a pre-scripted trends page circa 2016 Twitter, w/ only one page promoting an AI feeds bot. It doesnt entirely defeat my argument that AI isnt as aggressively pushed on here as it is Twitter.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification.

ItsRickysChannel @itsrickyschannel.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Ah OK, thanks for clarifying. It still says a lot (at least right now) that I haven't known about it right now. On Twitter, you cannot escape Grok as its icon is visible almost everywhere there. Still disappointing that the code of bluesky is partially done through AI tho.

ItsRickysChannel @itsrickyschannel.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

"but given AI is so fucking deep fried into this application" Huh? What do you mean? Bluesky isn't Twitter, Twitter has Grok integrated, Bluesky is... Bluesky. How is AI deep fried into this site? Is there an AI bot that I dont know about?

Canyt believe it took me until after Christmas to consider this idea with my two OC's, essentially a recolour of a previous render I published. #merrychristmas #happyboxingday #Xmas

Altenate christmas themed render of two OC's called Ricky. One is a small rabbit animatronic OC with Red and mint-green accents, the other is a taller, muscular red-coloured entity with a TV head, weaing a Christmas red+green outfit. Both OC's are seen hugging.

Recently found an old SFM project full of old poses I made of my OC for PNG graphics. Decided to remaster them w/ improved camera and lighting, and decided to turn them into posters. One of the poses is inspired by one Sonic The Hedgehog makes in Sonic Advance 3.

Almost a year ago now, I made a tutorial demonstrating how to install maps and other content for SFM outside of the Steam Workshop. Due to continued comments about problems, I recently simplied the original Zip and updated the description www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0D0... #sourcefilmmaker #sfm #fnaf
