I did end up reaching out to Xia. I was angry, naturally, but was also pretty much just blown off and told there was nothing any of them could do bc of contracts. I’ve worked in the industry 25 yrs now. Contracts can be voided and research can be had. That said, I don’t have any beef with Beacon.

Once the tune is taken down from the distributor, it loses its generated UPC and ISRC codes (these codes are what identifies your music on digital platforms) allowing you to re-distribute those tunes if you wish. Or just re-upload them with a clean slate. Part 2
