The Harvest full moon sees the release of Face the Wall. "After last month, where we were ‘looking for the happy’, we can just follow that line all the way through and come to Face the Wall, which is looking directly in the face of death.

Kiss That Frog was released this week in 1993 as the fourth single from 'US'. The music video was directed by Brett Leonard and won an MTV Video Music Award in 1994 for Best Visual Effects. Brett Leonard also directed Virtuosity, which featured Peter's track 'Party Man'.

Shock The Monkey was released #onthisday in 1982 as the first single from Peter's fourth album, performed at Sanremo Music Festival in 1983. "Most people saw that as a sort of animal rights song, but it wasn’t actually, it was a song about jealousy." - pg

I was introduced to Yayoi’s work in the 90s by David Elliot, who at that time was running the Museum of Modern Art in Oxford. Straightaway, I found myself very drawn to her world. Although the work at first looked childlike and innocent, you could feel the intensity that lay underneath.

Secret World Live was originally released on VHS on this day in 1994. The tour, in support of the album Us, saw Peter play more than 150 shows around the world in 1993 and 1994.

Peter makes a surprise appearance in the latest episode of Apple TV's dystopian drama Silo. The scene takes place in the ‘past', just as the Silo project is getting started and Peter can be seen sound checking for an event promoting the underground Silo initiative.
