1 adult, 1 child. Anywhere in the ground. Unsuccessful 😂. Only got tickets through the ballot once this season. Back to the online lottery on Monday

If a woman had 13 kids by four different men, used ketamine and spent all her time running a shadow presidency, I’m not sure our society would celebrate her.

They literally played together. He's played every game since signing. Hardly 2nd fiddle

This is very much the way under Howe. A team of runs.

010

Thomas Booth @itsniceupnorth.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

Yeah, I was concerned last week, but it feels clearer now. That said, we've got some massive games coming up over the next 4 weeks, and the reality is we'll probably lose some more

Thomas Booth @itsniceupnorth.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

I must have missed that. Burn and Gordon back. Botman could be on the bench. Barnes should be back by next week. Only Joelinton out for a few weeks.

Experienced this after Wallace and Gromit on Christmas day. 15 minutes of madness, like car crash TV, I couldn't look away, until I came to my senses and turned it off.

💯. Belter of a game. Also loved that performance from Willock and Osula

Reading more of the UEFA rules, worth noting that the annual costs are not per season, but December to December This means the Miggy and Kelly sales count in our UEFA calcs next season Also, the net profit from transfers part is the average of the past three years, which is crappy for us #NUFC

Thomas Booth @itsniceupnorth.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

Although Alex Murphy signed 3 years ago. Easy to forget we actually spent £60m in the summer.

Thomas Booth @itsniceupnorth.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

Strong chance at this point 8th place gets Europe, which would be worse than last season. Not sure it's that big a risk tbf

PSR is also the reason no one came in with a crazy bid for Bruno Isak or Gordon last summer and Madrid isn't splashing a load on Tonali this January We can thank it for some things

Thomas Booth @itsniceupnorth.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

Completely. Best case scenario is it's a temporary blip as clubs get their finances in order, then leads to more sensible transfer fees and wages. Worst case is it continues like this. Can't see Sky being happy about it, the ratings, associated betting etc, all gone.

010

Thomas Booth @itsniceupnorth.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

Agree. Some that I'm intrigued by (Rashford, Tels) but I wouldn't be at all convinced if we made them, and remain sceptical they'll work. Man City have made good signings I'd have liked, but not so much I'd want to pay over the top for them. The issue isn't Mitchell, it's PSR

Thomas Booth @itsniceupnorth.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

But if we're selling Kelly for £20m, it may well be a tough market to get reasonable value?

000

Thomas Booth @itsniceupnorth.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

We don't have any of the Kelly money yet though. I agree with you, however, that it seems mad that there isn't any loan to buy deals we could do. On the other hand, Juve have agreed to pay £20m for Lloyd Kelly in this window.

Thomas Booth @itsniceupnorth.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

I think Botman in for Schar, Tripps for Tino. Necessary changes to tighten the defence.

Newcastle United strongly condemns the appalling racist abuse received by Joe Willock on Instagram on Saturday evening. There is no room for racism anywhere. Joe has been given the club's full support and we will continue to do all we can to ensure the welfare of our players, staff and supporters.

Indeed! 1st to 4th Champions League, 5th Europa. Usually ends up with 6th Europa and 7th conference because the cup winners qualify for Champions league. Possible this year 1st to 5th Champions league, 6th Europa, so could be that 8th place gets into Conference

000

Thomas Booth @itsniceupnorth.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

No, the place goes to the league, not the losing finalist, that changed many moons ago.

100

Thomas Booth @itsniceupnorth.bsky.social · 01/02/2025

We'll be lucky to finish 6th in my mind. Very concerned about the match against Arsenal, not just the potential result, but also the effect it could have on the rest of the season

030

Thomas Booth @itsniceupnorth.bsky.social · 01/02/2025

Yep, just said the same. I don't know what he's expected to add. The pace he had, the running with the ball, the ability to score goals, the passing and link up he had with Joelinton and Isak. All gone. Confidence clearly gone. Get rid

Thomas Booth @itsniceupnorth.bsky.social · 01/02/2025

Looks like Fulham have made a tactical change at half time. After controlling the 1st half, they've been overrunning our midfield so far in the 2nd #NUFC

Thomas Booth @itsniceupnorth.bsky.social · 01/02/2025

Of course he almost scored after this!

10 wins in 11. The one defeat was when Botman started. He's a great player and he'll be playing soon enough.

Just been watching the Howe press conference. We've said it before, but Louise Taylor is such an odd person. A long, winding question about the use of drones to spy...then a 2nd question related to the 1st. Whole angle was about the treatment of the Canadian coach. Eddie baffled #NUFC
