So much time has past since then but the Ocarina remake truly looks like the old Spaceworld demo of Zelda from 26 years ago. People have been pining for a Zelda to FEEL like this since the year 2000 and I honestly think folks are finally getting it.

Im not saying Indie Shows are above critique. Im saying the "critique" has become meaningless content-slop in itself. We REALLY need better distribution than just YouTube. Its too easy to get buried in a tsunami of shallow, wrong opinions and outright bullying. Theres alot of new stuff out there.

Most shows are just the creator beaming their stream of consciousness of their clever little blorbos. One of these got suspended off Kickstarter because they hired artists from Iran. Push back whenever someone says all Indie is the same. Theyre wrong or just flat-out lying to you.

I caught LESBIAN SPACE PRINCESS on Kanopy today and I liked it! The animation style will be hit or miss for folks but I thought the message was strong, the characters were interesting and the comedic timing was MUAH. Overhated. Fun. You've seen way worse.

Ive been keeping an eye on ALOT of animation Kickstarters for over 10 years. Ive spoken to creators who saw massive success and those who havent. No ego: I have a fairly good idea of why certain projects achieve funding organically. And I can tell which projects force their campaign to win.

I personally think theyre pretty great! Theres a Kura about a 40-50min from where I live and their prices are pretty reasonable for the amount that you can choose. Sucks to see Trump's name stink up the brand. They actually have little robots that serve cold drinks.

One more thing: sometimes an eager kid tries to make their own streaming platform but they forget they have to have a reason for people to pull away from YouTube (exclusive high-quality content). VRV had first dibs on some premieres but ultimately theyre catalog was stuff you already had access to.

I dunno about yall but I really enjoyed SALEM. Its one of those messy, dramatic, supernatural soaps from the 2010s. Its not a perfect show. Its got a ton of issues but I find it fascinating in what it does right in creating juicy, silly character dynamicsand performances that are fun to watch.
