I think about this video almost everyday and tbh if this was the last thing I ever made for XIV then I'd be content with that.

I did almost post this version instead but when I paired it with the 2024 pic I was not happy at all, everything just looked kinda flat? I went back into PS and made everything pop just a little more and into soemthing that I'm a little more happy with.

On top of these changes were shots that still needed to be recorded, I played around with different ideas that never made it into the final project but it felt almost like a waste not to share the ones that I got as far as recording.

Whilst making that video, I had a constant issue of not liking a lot of the shots I originally shot after coming back from hiatus. So one of the first things I did was re-record/re-shoot those shots. Here's a few side by side examples;

A few days late because sadly my computer blew up, and I was occupied sorting that. 😭 Presenting! My 2025 Collab Recap! '25 had brought me many new and talented friends who have helped me grow in various ways, and I am grateful for the time we had together! Happy new year to you all! #gpose

A large collage featuring Jihja with a number of other characters taken throughout the year 2025, mostly at the site of the Summer Bash and Sci-fi Bash held in Bismarck, Materia DC in Final Fantasy Fourteen Online.

6: I met my Gpose hero! @kuroikira.etheirys.social! I started getting more comfortable asking people for collabs and really pushed myself to get to know the community. Posing with all kinds of people, big or small, sfw or nsfw, and trying to force meetups for genuine collaboration on them.

Okay, time for my singular photo from the #scifibash Devola + Popola Featuring the always lovely @itskiraxiv.gposers.pics! Thanks for joining me again 🥰 As always, both the reference image and pose will be available in the comments! #FFXIV | #Kaiyle | #Viera | #GPOSERS

Kaiyle and Kira standing in Solution 9 with a white cityscape. Kira, left, has an arm on their shoulder and around Kaiyle's waist. Kaiyle, right, has one hand around her waist and one at Kira's face. They stand in clothes similar to Devola and Popola from Nier.

You think after all this I intended to...survive?

The fact that I'm able to hop to OCE and interact and play with people that I can't on my own data centre is a miracle, and I really hope SE are able to roll this amazing feature out for ALL servers someday.

Yes congestion is an issue but you can't lay that blame on the playerbase or one player. Socialising is a main aspect of an MMO. I hope people don't feel discouraged to use a feature of the game because of this.

You can say that nobody expected this to happen but why tf do you think we can travel to OCE??? SE want this kind of thing, they want people from all over to interact with one another, they wouldn't have implemented it otherwise. This is just OCE's opening week again but x10

I'm gonna just regurgitate what I said on twitter. People have already said it better than I ever could but this is NOT FERI'S FAULT. Bringing so many people together from across the world is an amazing feat, and if anything you should be proud. I sure as shit am proud of you.
