It took a lot of time and stress but I finally (partially) figured out weight painting so I could properly rig models in Blended finally UE has it’s own skeletal rig but it’s helpful that I learned how to rig my own skeleton

Modeled some Traffic Cones and Traffic Barriers for funsies The cones will definitely be worked on as I didn’t bevel the top and I also think the top is a little too thick This also marks my 100th hour of learning Blender! #blender

Haven’t modeled for the past couple days, so decided I’d shake off the rust by modeling a real quick Gun Cabinet! I’ll expand on it later and make an opened version soon, but I’m also pretty happy with how this turned out so far! I’ll improve the model quality soon as well! #blender #lowpoly

Also putting this here since the material I’m using makes it impossible to see — the table DOES have a split down the middle where it would fold I just ended up making the meshes one solid mesh, and since I gotta leave in an hour I’ll “fix” it when I get back in town, but IT’S THERE!

Spent the last few hours modeling a fence and a concrete block! Also went the extra mile to make another fence model with one pole missing so they can easily be interconnected Still very proud of how these models turned out! May bevel the bottom of the block but we’ll see! #blender #lowpoly

Finished up the Military Crate model I was working on and took some time to also complete another Concrete Barrier model! I’m actually relatively proud of these 4 models so far #blender #lowpoly

Had like 45 minutes before I had to head to work, so I used the time to model a Military Crate Unfinished of course, I have to UV Unwrap for the texture and finish some texturing on the inside — as well as probably scale up or raise the lid — but for 45 minutes I think I did alright! #blender

redid the filling of the machine without including the wrappers to the candies and was able to fit in a lot more without Blender having an aneurism much happier with the outcome!

Took awhile, but I was finally able to fill up the "Perkandy" Machine with some candies! However my computer *really* doesn't like when you have 200+ rigid body meshes in a single scene so as much as I'd love to fill the machine up more, this is probably where I stop with it till I get an RTX 4090

okay I lied - modeled a Scythe because I've been meaning to for awhile! Still gonna try to model a firearm over the weekend - it's just a much more complicated process than melee weapons so it's a little intimidating, but I have some ideas on how to tackle it! #lowpoly

Going with the theme of me taking ideas from other mediums - here's a Gumball Machine I modeled that will totally not be used for a discount Gobblegum mechanic Maybe one day I'll add some designs to make the machine look more extravagant - will probably give the text a neon glow in-engine.

Decided that tonight's model is gonna be a Katana! I spent a LOT of time trying to figure out why the vertices made weird lighting effects with the Cycles rendering but not EEVEE since I enjoy how good the renders look in Cycles Since it's not a game engine though, gonna only render in EEVEE!

I’ve done a *lot* more models than just these, but these are some of the assets I’m most proud of! I’ve got a long way to go when it comes to 3D modeling, but I’m proud of my progress so far. When I actually start developing a game, I’ll probably make another account dedicated to development.
