Reunited and it feels so good!

First Gen HomePod sits on a wooden surface near a leafy plant. Around it are small items: a dark horned figure, a pink blocky Kirby with an open mouth on a black handle, a miniature red-and-yellow building with a gray roof, another pink blocky figure on a yellow base, and part of a black device with a screen.

I am dying at these reviews of cheap drones. 💀

A product review by Jason B. with a one-star rating labeled “Verified Purchase.” The title reads “This is garbage,” reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2026, color gray. The review text says the item flew perfectly indoors but launched at a 45-degree angle outdoors with no wind or warning, calling the controls unresponsive and using strong language. Below, it notes one person found it helpful, with buttons labeled “Helpful,” “Share,” and “Report.”

A product review by Mick with one out of five stars labeled “Verified Purchase.” The title reads “A Real Fly Away Toy.” It was reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2026, with color “Starry Black.” The text describes a device that was easy to set up and fly but later flew away during use and was lost; the camera stopped working, resulting in a $200 loss. The reviewer says they will not buy it again and do not recommend it. Below, it states “One person found this helpful,” followed by buttons labeled “Helpful,” “Share,” and “Report.”

Does CVS know something we don’t? I do not see anything forecast in the area. 😅

A text message from CVS received today at 9:04 AM shows a severe weather alert. It warns of a major storm forecast in your area and advises planning ahead to stay safe and avoid disruptions to your medication schedule. It includes a link to check local CVS Pharmacy hours: cvs.co/StormHours. Above the message is a building icon labeled “CVS,” and a back button with the number 1.

Here are the other parts.

Messages Favoriting someone from a direct message sticks. A direct message row updates when the recipient’s own acknowledgment arrives. Message lists refresh when something changes instead of polling for it. Nodes and settings The app offers to remove nodes that no longer share a channel with you. Traffic Management tells you whether it suits your node, and its time fields use interval pickers. Saving LoRa settings no longer assumes the radio reboots, and the region banner clears properly afterward. Long names are capped at what a 2.8 radio will keep, and Ambient Lighting now applies to the right radio when configuring another node. Backups Database backups are keyed to the radio’s device id rather than its node number, so a radio that changes node number keeps one backup instead of collecting duplicates. Connecting A lost Bluetooth bond ends the reconnect loop instead of retrying forever. Available radio names refresh on the Connect screen, and swipe to disconnect reads as the destructive action it is.

Appearance The dark theme uses the palette’s own dark blues, and tinted buttons and confirmation actions are readable in dark mode. Also in this release: improved Korean translations, and product links now disclose that they may earn a commission.

A little weekend trip to St Louis.

This image shows a vintage switchboard, likely from a hotel lobby. The switchboard is housed in a wooden cabinet with a polished finish. At the center, there’s a large rectangular panel with numerous small buttons and switches. The buttons are arranged in rows and columns, with some buttons highlighted in red, indicating they might be active or in use. Above the buttons, there’s a sign with the words “DRURY INN” in bold, black letters on a yellow background. On either side of the switchboard panel, there are glass-fronted compartments containing rows of cards or labels, possibly for room numbers or guest information. The overall appearance is that of an early 20th-century communication device used for connecting calls within a building.

I really enjoyed Lucky. There were some moments that are really cheesy where she disappears in impossible situations. Though the characters help to over look this. Story does become twisty about 2/3 of the way through.

The image features a person with light-colored hair, possibly blonde, lying down in a dimly lit setting. They are looking directly at the camera with a calm expression. A lit candle is in front of them, casting a warm glow on their face and creating soft shadows. The person is wrapped in a dark, possibly velvet fabric, adding to the cozy and intimate atmosphere. In the top left corner, the text “Lucky 2026” is visible, and below it, there are three white stars, suggesting a rating or review.

Below that is white text that reads “Version 2.7.19″ and “8h ago.” Below that is a list of bullet points in white text. Each bullet point starts with an asterisk. The bullet points read: “New Apple TV app: watch your mesh live on the big screen, with the node list, a map that groups pins only when nodes overlap, offline map downloads, and a mesh stats bar.” “Offline maps can now include terrain: hillslide and elevation contour lines, downloadable together with the street map or on their own.” “Coverage estimates fill in transmitter altitude from downloaded terrain when you are offline.” “nRF52 radios: install Meshtastic’s OTAFIX bootloader for faster, more reliable Bluetooth firmware updates, or factory erase a radio that can no longer boot — both from the Firmware Updates screen.” “Mention other nodes in channel messages with @.” “Channel settings n…

Behind it is a game case featuring a red car and the title “Need for Speed.” Right Figurine: Metaknight looks like a character with a metallic, blue helmet and purple armor. It has a stern expression with yellow eyes and is positioned with arms crossed. Behind it is a game case for “Super Mario Bros. 3″ on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). Upgraded my #meshtastic already to a Thinknode M5. So much nicer than the board in a case before.

This image shows a handheld radio device on a wooden surface. The radio is black and has a rectangular shape with a small screen on the front. The screen displays information such as battery percentage, time, and signal status. Above the screen, there is a long, cylindrical antenna with the number “915” printed on it. To the right of the antenna, there is a smaller, round knob, likely for adjusting volume or frequency. A black lanyard is attached to the radio, hanging down from the bottom right corner. The background is a plain, light-colored wall.
