@pawsome.bsky.social probably the best convention I've been to in a very long time. The vibe was completely different to any other con I'd been to, and not just because of the relaxed dress code. Everyone was just so friendly and approachable, it really felt like I was a part of a big family! (1/6)

I was expecting it sometime soon, but this morning I got the call from the care home saying Mum had passed. She had been declining with Parksion’s since March and I was getting concerted about her quality of life. I’m convinced she was letting me do Pawsome. Love you Mum ♥️

First Fur Con, first time as Head of ConOps, had an amazing time at @pawsome.bsky.social I am so proud of our crew, my ConOps team and the staff. It looks like our attendees had a great time, had fun and we kept folks safe. Welfare deserve an extra shout. Mission accomplished 🐾

Yeah, this was at 3am. Ghost and I were having a debrief and both said “Oh no” and I moved the foil blankets to by reception just in case…
