we're back from our little vacation and we had a great time! it was sammy's first time at the beach and he had a lot of fun! #dogsofbluesky

a little yorkshire terrier mini schnauzer mix is sitting on a beach. he is black and tan and wears a dark green harness with a long black leash attached. he is a bit wind swept. behind him is a wavy sea and a blue sky with few clouds.

the same dog as the first picture, this time he is standing on his hind legs, with his front legs on my leg. again, he is very much standing in the wind on the beach with the sea in the background.

‘Are you a speciesist?’ 💭 SPECIESISM: [treating members of some species as morally more important than members of other species; and also the belief that this practice is justified]

ARE YOU A SPECIESIST?
🐓 You feed the birds in your garden... and roast other birds in your oven. 🐦
🐷 You rescue dogs from hot cars... and pay to send pigs in metal slaughter trucks to get horrifically gassed. 🐶
🐮 You delight at a donkey being reunited with their mother.
But pay for calves to be separated from their mothers so you can have their milk 🫏

Every justice movement gets pushback. It's just that veganism is dismissed as diet. That's how objectified the victims are, they aren't even thought about by their oppressors.

The image contains text in a conversation format, with "Nonvegans" and "Vegans" as the two parties. Each group has different statements aligned to the left:

Nonvegans:
- "equality now; legalize gay marriage!"
- "fuck police brutality; black lives matter!"
- "no means no; end rape culture!"

Vegans:
- "animals are not commodities; go vegan!"

Nonvegans:
- "wow, you vegans need to stop antagonizing people and respect their choices..."

At the bottom, there's a watermark that reads "@VeganForLifeNZ".

crocheted this crossbody bag and successfully sewed in a zipper for the first time! 🧶 pattern: www.etsy.com/de-en/listin...

a crocheted crossbody sling bag lays on beige tiles. it has big stripes of a caramel color, with small rosy brown in-between. the strap is also the rosy brown color and connected to d rings with gold heart clasps.

the same striped bag, this time from the top and open with most of the picture blurry, just the opened zipper is in focus. the bag is sitting on a dark grey blanket.

dnf after 145 pages/32% this pains me as i was super excited to read this, but it doesn't work for me. we follow all characters at once, which is confusing and makes it hard to get to know them. i still don't know who they are, only that they have sex, which doesn't add to the story 🤦🏼‍♀️ #BookSky
