Unpopular opinion: calling everything above the southernmost point of NY "upstate" is ridiculous!! The entire state cannot be upstate, thx for coming to my ted talk

People have been sharing their twitter highlights. One of mine is that before #TBFighters was even really a thing, i tweeted at J&J at least once a day for over two months (more than 100 tweets total) asking them to not enforce their secondary patent on bedaquiline ✨

The great "It is false to suggest" statement from J&J, which was community noted on twitter. The backlash from this statement hurt them.

Even more posts in September. Almost there! J&J committed to not enforce the patent toward the end of September.

To be clear, this doesn't rest on the doctors or nurses, who do the best they can w too little resources and way too many patients. It rests on the admin and policy makers, many of whom have probably never spent time in a VA waiting room. People like my mom deserve a hell of a lot better

My mom wearing a hospital gown, laying in a VA hospital bed. Her arm is in a sturdy sling from recent shoulder surgery. Her emotional support dog, a large teddy bear like golden doodle, is laying across her lap. The nurses were so kind about letting him stay and he did my mom a lot of good in the hospital. Oliver (the dog) is very content to be protecting his mom while she doesn't feel good
