Maybe it would help to actually check your facts instead of relying on media, then comment.

Taylor claims that under Labor Government universities are providing top tier education as a path to permanent residency or citizenship. Howard reduced funding forcing uni's to go to full fee paying overseas students, also allowed them to apply for permanent residency from here not home country

Howard cut $5b from higher education, it forced universities to fee paying overseas students. Howard also made education as a pathway to permanent residency and made it onshore after graduating and not having to return to home country first. I have a memory like an elephant😂

I point out, Government spending is State a nd Federal, Saul Eslake pointed out yesterday, ABC, that the States spent more in the last month's, helping with relief for cost of living, Federal was lower at then. Media hell bent on blame game and refusing to accept the Trump disaster for the world

I saw a preview of an ABC and he's a panellist or something. The ABC is pure crap I'm sorry to say, what's with all these stupid, mind numbing panellist shows with all the has beens on the panel and an idiot trying to be funny. Notice ABC comment re Eslake's interview, States spent more last period!

David "but in" Speers, he wants to get his opinion verified and Chalmers is alert to him, ABC are supposed to allow time for a response!

My state they would cut down magnificent massive old growth trees and the put wedge splits so they disguised them on the trucks. they also clear felled old growth forests but left enough on the roadside so that we couldn't see the devastation

Mamdani is a mayor so he doesn't have to present legislation to a lower house, enquiries and a Senate so I think that he's done great things as a mayor but it doesn't transfer to our Government procedures

ABC this morning inflation rise explainer with graphics. Photos of fuel etc plus Parliament house. Then interviewed Saul Eslake part of his explanation was that States have spent more on Gov support than feds recently. ABC incompetent ex news hacks don't know, public spending is State and Federal

No, they wouldn't and would get rid of them. Stupid media, ABC today, with graphics, told us why inflation is high. Petrol prices etc plus photo of Parliament house, then interview with Eslake where he explained that States spending lately was more. Gov spending is State and Fed idiot media, ABC

He does it because as PM you go to this stuff and if he went only to Labor, left leaning places you would all be out shouting. I don't know if he likes this stuff or not but it's part of the job, wondering if they still cater the oft reported hated rubber chicken

I vote Greens, Senate only, I thought that they were more thoughtful and intelligent and understood that a Trump like ranter isn't the way to go. The youth vote seemed to support the idea of a woman leading the Greens also. His getting rid of Aukus, maybe he should be asked how, it isn't just a word

Maybe check details. Support is on a sliding scale tied to global metal prices, if high no dollars. Price falls below London metal prices support kicks in. If global metal, aluminium, prices stay strong no support, so the cap of$200m doesn't get paid out

Negotiating with the Libs to get legislation passed is ideal because they usually eventually form Government. The longevity of said legislation is then likely to remain, otherwise as has been seen as the first climate policy and others, LNP repealed it

Maybe Labor are the government and negotiate to get support but let's face it the Greens are a minor party that thinks that it knows more than everyone else. Government isn't simple, it's complex and requires considered legal and intricate detail to form policy then legislation, not sideline ranting

I have used a card once, everywhere I go accept cash even at a private Dr surgery and the till where ever I go the cash drawers are full and no issue. This is in a capital city. That one time wracking my brain for the pin was a challenge. I shop online using my card or course

I repeat I have no idea what our home is worth and don't care because we aren't in the market, the idea that people spend more because their house has risen in value??? Should you sell and buy it's all in the same market, using houses as an investment is not the purpose of housing.

Problem is the lack of verified and truthfull media. ABC are salivating, no alternate facts or verified reporting just half baked RW media fan boys & girls. This is awful for people, where is the truth here, just one sided
001
ithedark.bsky.social @ithedark.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
The Australian media are a disgrace, chooks with their heads chopped off and ignoring facts. The halving of the fuel excise etc that they demanded knowing the budgetry cost, ignoring Senate refusing to support savings, LNP salivating at int rate rise. Unemployment in other countries are very high

Media ignore this now but that's who Ashby is and Pine, don't forget the attack on Slipper about cabcharge, just over $900, 3 trips, they referred it to AFP so that he couldn't repay it as was the usual practice and still is, thousands of dollars allowed to be repaid
010
ithedark.bsky.social @ithedark.bsky.social · 28/09/2026
Ashby and Pine stitch up of Slipper a coordinated attack plus cabcharge that he wasn't allowed to repay as is normal procedure.

Media, Barr insult us by platforming idiots like Joyce, a man who lay drunken on a footpath shouting abuse into a phone. Sunrise, tell us other politician who behaved like that and who you would give airtime to and imagine the line of trashing of another taxpayer funded Politician who acted like him

Firmus proposed $2.1b data centre in Tasmania halted. Basic site work under Forest Practices ACT, council inspectors and residents saw the unapproved heavy excavation and earthmoving. My prediction , oft seen way to get their own way, ask forgiveness then ask permission

Just wondering why ABC a few minutes ago played a clip of Trump on this issue. Many experts and this article point to the fact that he's using his usual over stating things.

Turns out that there were US "hacks" also as we found out last night. Globally, Government agencies, universities and public agencies have also been hacked. More to come so watch this space as they say

So Australian intelligence failed because they didn't know about the Medicare hack, overnight America found that similar had occured in 3 of their companies. A competent ABC person should have maybe pointed that out. Climate change, so LNP are going to repeal climate policies AGAIN, it's deliberate

I wonder if an historical something was destroyed by fire in another state, not Victoria or NSW, maybe SA would the National broadcaster comment. I'm assuming that there weren't many car crashes yesterday so they filled their required Victoria quota while ignoring other states as usual

ABC are just as bad, they, copy most of their news from RW media, every thing that occurs. ABC looks to the negative angle...watch and listen, many ABC front of camera have a tonal problem, a clipped terse tone. The strip headlining a story is the negative take

Just reread your old responses to LNP crap about EV's, weekends, and utes, it'll save time to repost the proven rebuttals to garbage. Abbott is and always was a blight on Australian politics, he also has his fingers in education policy

Okay kids if your team is in the GF it's ok to come from behind, punch someone in the guts, a cowardly attack, and it's ok because it's GF week and you are a good boy. This is a disgrace and sets a disgraceful example, what does the $10,000 fine say, it was serious enough but let the boy play anyway

Watch ABC breakfast, whatever is on newspaper front pages is their news. I recall the days when ABC would be ridiculed by other media because they would wait for facts before reporting.

The media are complicit in the lies and rubbish , The Guardian, ABC and Getup found overseas bots affecting our politics. Overseas Meme factories are flooding Australia, do we hear Australian media reporting this, no so maybe that's why the public is increasingly ignorant of facts

I'm so angry that we have to listen to media supported crap again, did they not see Hyde Park beautiful and lush reduced to DUST. Our summer will possibly be as bad and Australians will come out to help as our insurance premiums go up all because LNP follow the Republican party, always have

Yes and every time this is commented on I recall the total lack of respect for her and the lack of integrity not only in Parliament but the media's joy in it all. Remember the menu? The carbon price legislation that was repealed by Abbott, and the ensuing loss of climate change policies for years

No, our alliance is with the USA and not the individual, you may notice that Australia hasn't always had upstanding leaders also. Trump will soon be gone and normal situation will continue until the next idiot on either side will appear
