Interesting and unusual mission for this French Navy Breguet Atlantique ATL.2 (reg. 25 - c/s FNY5627) over the western Mediterranean. The aircraft remained in the area for approximately three hours, from 17:30 to 20:30, and is now returning to its home base at NAS Lann-Bihoué, Lorient.

Yesterday, a Royal Air Force RC-135W Rivet Joint (reg. ZZ666 - c/s ASCOT7207) conducted a SIGINT mission over the Black Sea. At the end of the mission, instead of returning to RAF Waddington, the aircraft headed towards Souda Bay AB, where it remains to this day.

In the end, the C-17 that landed in Moscow this morning was carrying CIA Director John Ratcliffe. However, he only used the Globemaster for the final leg of his journey to Moscow, having arrived in Europe aboard a C-40, which he is now using for his return flight to the United States.

In recent days, a wildfire broke out in the Peloponnese, between Argos and Corinth. Four Hellenic Air Force CL-215s, two CL-415s and several helicopters operated by private companies were deployed and managed to contain and extinguish the fire before it could spread further.
