I know there's buzz re Robert Pattinson voicing the heron in the _Boy and the Heron_ dub but having watched the sub yesterday I thought "Huh, I wonder who did that, some grizzled old vet?" and I looked up Masaki Suda and uh well then. (He did a great job! Photo's from 2015 but he's only 30 now.)

The Grey Heron in Hayao Miyazaki's _The Boy And the Heron_ aka _How Do You Live?_. He is sitting on the ground in his half-humanoid/half-heron form, with his head poking out of the heron beak, with a large bulbous nose and pointy ears, while holding a rope around his heron torso with human hands.

A photo of Japanese actor Masaki Suda, taken in 2015, with him partially facing to the left against a grey background, with dyed red hair combed over to his left side and wearing a natty purple jacket. I suspect more than a few people reading this would have positive things to say regarding his general appeal.
