Not all MFA stops a phish. Fake login pages relay your code to the real site in seconds. You did everything right — it just went to the wrong place. A passkey can't be relayed: it's bound to the real site's address, and there's nothing to type. Start with email.

The password spreadsheet isn't there because people can't remember. It's there because several people need the same login. Better memory doesn't fix that. A shared vault does — and when someone leaves, you remove them instead of resetting everything. List the accounts more than one person uses.

Your password isn't the problem. Reuse is. Attackers don't guess — they take pairs from a breached site and try them everywhere else. A clever password used twice is weaker than a boring one used once. Check your work email at haveibeenpwned.com.

Nobody picked your nonprofit. A script found it. That's the whole difference. Automated attacks don't check your budget — they check whether the door moved. You're not a target. You're reachable. And ordinary defenses are what close the door. #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth
