Weird translation choice I guess? They translated "Women" to "Schuhe" (german for shoes) - which means if you click on shoes, you only get shoes classified as "for women" 🫠

Items can now be dropped into the world and picked up again - also I'm proud of my rewritten furniture system 😌 The tavern is once again ready for npc customers - this time with multiplayer. Can't wait to put the tileset back in once the core systems are done :D #GodotEngine #indiedev #gamedev

First rough sketch of Krellia, the result of the Neyroo's worst crime. To create the first being with the ability to suffer. She will only appear briefly in the game, despite the game being named after her.

Sketch of Helena, one of the vampire siblings in my game. Vampires within the Krelliaverse have visible horns when they are close to their home soil. Like all mutations induced by shards of Kliina's soul, vampires belong to the Children of the Beast - just like werewolves and nixies.

The tavern system is coming back together 👀 While rewriting it for multiplayer support, I worked on some improvements behind the scenes. The old furniture system was too generalized and I had to dumb it down, which actually made it smarter. #gamedev #godotengine

It's time to start on the dish creation system for Krellia 👀 My current plan is to have certain dish types (sandwich, soup, poke bowl, pizza, etc.) that you can specify up to 5 ingredients for. The ingredients determine shapes on the plate and what color palettes you can use for the components.

I'm sorry people playing my game nonstop for 500 million years, I'm not adding the wrapping checks in case you happen to trigger something in the exact 30ms timeframe where this would break the game 😔

Excerpt of the documentation from the Godot Game Engine about the method "get_ticks_msec()" in the Time class:

Returns the amount of time passed in milliseconds since the engine started.

Will always be positive or 0 and uses a 64-bit value (it will wrap after roughly 500 million years).

My favorite world system in a video game actually is the one in Dragon Age: Origins - I prefer it over any open-world game. You discover new points of interest, travel to them and encounter "random" events while traveling.
