Fun fact, I think. The first forensic autopsy, that of 44 BC on one Julius Caesar, was also perhaps the most "explained" death imaginable. But that effort begat forensic pathology and the medical examiner, long fundamentals in solving crime. Not all crimes as solvable as Caesar's murder.
