This is for #tabbytuesday but I’ll just post it again tomorrow for #whiskerswednesday - Jane takes the best whisker pics #catsofbluesky #skycats #tabbycats

Jane the cat is sitting in the living room looking up at the camera. She’s a tabby with beautiful whiskers.

There’s a lizard back there (we warn them not to enter this house of death but they don’t always listen) #catsofbluesky #skycats

Easton doesn’t want his food, he wants Maxine‘s food. Maxine‘s food is so much better (even though it’s exactly the same) #catsofbluesky #skycats #blackcats

Easton the cat is sitting staring at Maxine (the cat), who is eating her food. Easton‘s full food bowl is right behind him, but Maxine’s food looks way more appealing to him.

They seem to be hanging out more and more, almost a year after Easton came back. Hoping for some ongoing peace and harmony #caturday #catsofbluesky #skycats

Maxine and Easton are lying in the shade on a screened patio next to each other, looking up at the camera. There’s a basket of pool toys in front of them, as well as several Adirondack chairs with throw pillows.

Jane is walking through the living room looking innocent enough, but the attached text is requesting immediate pickup, which doesn’t bode well. Good thing we’re home tomorrow #caturday #catsofbluesky #skycats

Jane the cat is walking through the living room, looking innocent enough, but apparently not.

Still visiting the grands, so today’s diary entry is from our sweet, southern (apparently) Eloise #felinefriday #fluffyfriday #catsofbluesky #skycats

On top is Eloise the cat lying in the sink, sleeping. On the bottom is her diary entry:
it's been a freaking day y'all. first off, it started at 5am when my siblings (loose term) got into a brawl and damn near made me lose some fur when I couldn't get away fast enough on my little legs!!! then I had one of my flare ups where ma stomach just ain't acting quite right and I threw up my breakfast. now there's a bunch of men in my house working on ma new secret house project (a new sink bed) and these men won't even take any time out to scratch my butt!!!

We’re off visiting the grands, so our daughter is alone for the week with the misfits. She sent me today’s entry from Jane’s diary #whiskerswednesday #catsofbluesky #skycats

On the top is Jane the cat, crouching in a recliner looking anything but relaxed. On the bottom is Jane's diary entry for today, in which she complains about the other cats as well as her babysitter.

Jane is decidedly not happy with the workmen in the house making banging noises. Her expression says it all, especially compared to happy Jane from one year ago #catsofbluesky #skycats

Jane the cat is sitting loaf-style in a recliner with a seriously concerned expression on her face.

Jane the cat is relaxing in the same recliner one year ago with a much more relaxed expression on her face.

Took Eloise for grooming this morning. I left the carrier on the floor after I let her out, and she found her way back to it #caturday #catsofbluesky #skycats #catnap

Black cats tend not to photograph well, and consequently they lag in adoptions. But Maxine seldom disappoints in this regard (unless it’s really important for you to know the shape of her head lol) #blackcats #tongueouttuesday #catsofbluesky #skycats

Maxine the cat is crouched on the floor looking up at the camera, with her front paws stretched out and her tongue sticking out.

It might look as though Jane is starting a cult, but the reality is they’re all trying to get closer to the rat that’s in the attic 😬 (Exterminators are coming this afternoon to take care of this problem - and to seal the attic.) #catsofbluesky #skycats #rats

Jane the cat is sitting on a shelf looking down at Maxine and Easton, who are looking up at her as if in adoration. In reality they’re all listening though to the noise is coming from the attic. There is no adoration whatsoever in this photo.

The way you turn the corner and she’s standing there staring at you with that look on her face. If she was twins, they’d be a shoo-in for a remake of The Shining #mondaymood #catsofbluesky

Eloise the cat is sitting staring down the hall. As you come around the corner you can’t help but compare her to the little twin girls at the hotel in The Shining.

Jane is standing (well technically squatting) between Easton and his mama. Easton is not happy #felinefriday #catsofbluesky #skycats

Jane the cat is squatting in the bedroom doorway, blocking Easton from entering. Easton is sitting in the living room just outside the bedroom door with his ears in owl mode, giving Jane some side eye.

The name had already been taken or else Jane would be Abby the tabby #tabbytuesday #catsofbluesky #skycats

Baby Jane the kitten is lying on a bed, looking back over her shoulder at the camera. She’s covered by a fuzzy blue blanket with a pink flower and the name Abby monogrammed on it.

Maxine is going all in for the treats (which are really just cat food in a treat bag) #catsofbluesky #skycats

Maxine the cat has her head entirely inside a treat bag that’s sitting on the floor. She’s pulling treats out and eating them one by one.

She tried to help but she couldn’t read the map without her glasses to she gave up, and gave in to naptime #catsofbluesky #skycats #puzzle

Eloise the cat is lying on the coffee table on top of a half-finished puzzle, sleeping. The puzzle is a map of the world, and there’s a print of the map near her head.

Eloise, Jane, and Maxine are sleeping in three chairs around a table with a very unfinished puzzle on it
