He got paid so little at his next job for a university that he had to switch fields completely and return to school because otherwise he would die in poverty. A scientist of nearly a decade. I hate, hate, HATE this country to my core.

My brother was one of the scientists fired during the DOGE cuts and his entire lab got shut down. The research from their multimillion dollar program will be rendered useless. Their work was focused around helping local farmers increase their crop yields. Our gov't hates us and wants us to die.
