The iconic Pillars of Creation — the soaring tendrils of cosmic dust and gas that sit at the heart of M16 (The Eagle Nebula).
The Pillars of Creation, with three head-like tendrils of brown, yellow, gold, orange, red, and green, are enveloped by blue hues and set against a beautiful backdrop of glowing stars.

The International Space Station (ISS) stands as a quintessential moment in humanity’s advancement of science and, above all, the power of international kinship.
The International Space Station at a standstill above Earth, set against a background of darkness. Earth below is glowing in hues of blue, with white clouds, brownish land, and blue water.

Colorful, stunning. And maybe toxic and poisonous… This is the Poison Dart Frog. They can range in many bright colors — yellow, blue, orange, and so on. Though, despite their beauty, they can be deadly. The Golden Poison Dart Frog, for example, possesses enough poison to kill 20,000 mice.
The Poison Dart Frog, settled on a green leaf, facing the right of the photo in an upward position. The frog’s skin is stunning, with blues and blacks in the form of irregular shapes and patterns. The Golden Poison Dart Frog, settled on the ground, encircled by green plants, with golden/yellow skin, big black eyes, looking upwards to the left of the photo.

🌕 Triton isn’t like other large moons… Triton, the largest moon of Neptune’s 16 moons, is a bit unusual. It is the only large moon in our solar system that orbits in the opposite direction of Neptune’s rotation — otherwise known as a retrograde orbit.

Deep-ocean voyaging, celestial navigation — the Polynesians were masters at it. Infamously known for wayfinding, Polynesian people voyaged across the vast blue Pacific Ocean basin using the sun, stars, waves, and nature around them.
