aaahhh!!! I'm so excited to share a preview of the piece I wrote, "If Wishes Were Fishes," for Our Manly Bond!! I hope you guys check it out on the 30th, we all worked very hard on it. #Danganronpa #Ishimondo #MondoOwada #KiyotakaIshimaru #fanfiction @ishimondozine.bsky.social

A snippet of writing from an Ishimondo fanzine titled "Our Manly Bond." In the upper right corner, the zine's name is listed, along with icons for its social media platforms and a message that reads: "download for free June 30 at ishimondozine.itch.io". The background of the image is light purple smoke curling over darkness. At the bottom of the image, it says: "Excerpt from If Wishes Were Fishes by Jess." The fanfiction excerpt is as follows:
His hearing came back first, and abruptly. The first sound to fill his ears was an unfamiliar shout from above. It reminded him of a naval officer fresh from the academy, loud and stringent and clear as a bell. And yelling at him for some crime, of course.
“—you now, you despicable dryfoot! Justice will be served to…!” By the end, the declaration took on a quizzical tone. “...night?”
As Mondo blinked in confusion, his vision at last adjusted. He was greeted by another set of eyes, big and round and glowing faintly red. They were prettier than any rubies the pirate had ever seen.
