PSA, because some how folk still don't understand: Asexual ≠ doesn't want sex. Asexual in fact = experiences little/no sexual ATTRACTION You can be ace and desire relationships. You can be ace and desire intimacy. You can also be ace and desire neither That is all

If you see this, post your lockscreen! For anyone curious, it's DouWata from xxxHolic! (Took this screenshot the 4th, so that's why the date is off, but this is still my lockscreen)

Where's my #xxxHolic gang at? Gotta revive this fandom, so here's my Shizu practice from a few months ago!

Id say yes bc xxxholic is the best thing to ever exist, but realistically, if you buy omnibus 1 & u like it, you're gonna be so sad when you come to omnibus 4. It's super rare and can only be found for hundreds of dollars. I'm currently coping with this reality. My advice is to 🏴‍☠️⚓️ first then decide

Praying for a xxxHolic & Tsubasa remake! So many story beats were handled poorly in translation from manga to anime and even more were omitted completely (like Yui's whole backstory) Need all that in animation.

I didn't know this was a thing. Omg she's so sweet 💜

Am i just too empathetic, or is it extremely uncomfortable to speak ill of dead men who aren't literally directly hitler? Is it not weird to loudly celebrate death instead of breathing a quiet sigh of relief and moving on? Idk. Death, in general, is heavy. It's sad.

There's a direct line from "no kink at Pride" and "no sex in movies and books unless it Serves The Plot" to payment processors feeling completely empowered to censor art globally

being smart is not being right. it's a lot about being able to admit when you're not. it's being willing to explore and ask questions and acknowledge complexity, especially when it comes to stuff you don't really know about or understand. it's about being able to say "I am NOT the expert. so who is"

This! I learned to munbond REALLY quick in my childhood. On top of everything else, I'm autistic so sometimes the seemingly smallest things become trauma for me. So I turned to fiction & role play. I created a world for myself, within myself, like in the song "imaginary" by Evanessence.

Shebber Stark @ishidasado.bsky.social · 06/07/2025

deeply introspective, healing, & tbh, spiritual experience is more than a shame. It's a tragedy. I want to talk more in depth later abt the intricacies of my munbonding experience as an autistic girl & the great impact it had on me personally. It's gonna be a long one so I need to mentally prepare.

Shebber Stark @ishidasado.bsky.social · 06/07/2025

I wanna touch on it alot more later when I have the mental energy but I searched "munbonding" & "soul bonding" here on bsky & the way ppl talk about it just ... disappointed me. I'm an avid munbonder (I have been since I was very young) & the perception of & apathy towards this, in my opinion, -

Shebber Stark @ishidasado.bsky.social · 06/07/2025

I'm not even specifically talking about outdoor play. When I was young I played with barbies & action figures. This kind of play fosters empathy as a child has the opportunity to take on the role of so many other ppl/animals/monsters/ect who are much different than themselves.

Shebber Stark @ishidasado.bsky.social · 06/07/2025

This goes for all media. Books, animation & video games. Many big companies are stripping animation & games of their potential, boiling them down to "content" to be consumed. This generation is losing everything. Even play is forgone by kids in favor of mindless social media scrolling.

Black ink on white paper. Linocut print of the monster procession from chapter 35 of CLAMP's xxxHolic. Watanuki and Doumeki hold a houzuki lantern with their backs to the viewer, and several spirits pass in front of them with their own lanterns.

I think it's a joke post because the many ways to say "x" is absurd, but fr, I always just say "Holic" when I verbally pronounce it.

Beastars reminded me of it. I watched Sweet Tooth after Beastars & its so interesting that I headcanoned Sweet Tooth to be the answer to how the Beastars world is populated w human/animal hybrids but no humans. I didnt know Sweet Tooth was targeted at kids bc its got some pretty severely dark topics

Shebber Stark @ishidasado.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

Judging by some things on your list, I think you may really enjoy Sweet Tooth. I just finished it not too long ago & it's sooo good!

I was just talking to my sister about how I have absolutely no sense of passing time in s3. Do you happen to remember when the time skips were? We were trying to figure out if Legoshi really did go without talking to Haru that long or not.

Bruh ikr! Something about all the curves of her face makes her so hard to get right! I always end up making her eyes too big/close together & have to shrink them & move them around a lot 😭 The size of her forehead gets me sometimes too

Ohh I love Sheila! I also really love Collot, Bill & Gohin as like 2nd tier characters 💜 I wish we could get a bit extra slice of life with the side characters, especially in the anime (maybe like a few unrelated eps after s3 wraps up) That would be great!
