Tons of fun little notes: "Rehearse Vo Dee Oh Girls" Putting sawdust in the puddles so the camera picks up the splash. The crew re-waxing the floor so Kelly can slide more freely. Shooting the "Broadway Melody" took two whole months, half of the entire film's shoot!

10 years ago today he came in 2nd in the Iowa Caucuses, blamed it on 'fraud', and demanded a nullification or a new election. Back then it was transparently pathetic to everyone.

Above all, Rose's burgers were AMAZING. But it also felt like a secret club, a burger speakeasy. No signage, the actual front door was always locked. You had to know it was there, and how to get in. Rose ran it from 1940 until she passed in 2003.

Rose's Hamburgers in Dallas, TX. You had to walk down an alley to find the back door. Inside it felt like someone's home but there were tables and chairs in every room. Rose would be in the kitchen. You'd duck your head in and order, then grab a soda out of the giant fridge (seen here left).
