Some examples of known hoaxes perpetrated by Donald Trump: the DOGE checks, the 600% reductions in medications, and now the $5k check… among so, so many others. Reply with your personal favorite Donald Trump hoax.

It’s also possible you have a large number of stoners trying to mask their symptoms… … but I wouldn’t know anything about that. 😶‍🌫️

The most likely suspect is always a disgruntled Major who was passed over for promotion.

Serious question: at what point do we start advocating for people to vote in-person versus via mail? It seems pretty obvious, by this point, that the safety and integrity of mail-in voting is going to be in question during the upcoming mid-terms.

Donald Trump is living proof that no matter how shitty someone is, they can always surprise you by being even shittier.

Somehow I have now received 855 followers—not sure how many of them are NOT bots, but I am thankful to anyone and everyone that follows and engages. Have a good day.

If they don’t name the show “1 Hour” out of pure spite then what are they even doing?

120

Is Doom Imminent? @isdoomimminent.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Some of us just wish we had a ton of followers to lose in the first place.

If they don’t name a replacement “60 Minutes” “1 Hour” out of pure spite, then I dunno if I am in.

The mullet haircut of wars: business as usual on weekdays, bombing on the weekends.

So… just to make sure I am understanding this right… … the US Congress can subpoena you to testify before them and if you choose to use your constitutional rights you can be held in contempt and possibly even imprisoned? WTF kinda of government is that?

010

Is Doom Imminent? @isdoomimminent.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

Hard pass… … the last time I was in a vehicle the size of a tractor trailer it was blown up and I was ejected from it into a diesel fuel fire.

Are municipally run, not-for-profit grocery stores a good policy idea? YES. What are they intended to accomplish? Lowering prices for the average American. What problem do they solve? Providing food, particularly to lower-income Americans in food deserts at an affordable price.

I am not the least bit smart—I never could pass college algebra to finish my degree, but, for what my opinion is worth, I am a HUGE supporter of any idea (within the realm of feasibility) to lower grocery costs for the average American. So… to answer your questions:

I am not sure there are any reliable, trustworthy sources of information when it comes to this war. For all our modern technology… very little truth seems to seep out. Perplexing and fascinating.

030

Is Doom Imminent? @isdoomimminent.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

I no longer view the US DoD/DoW (or whatever they’re calling themselves now) as a reliable source for trustworthy and accurate information.

I can persuade, but never make demands of my children, though I feel as if not having children will continue to become increasingly prevalent, possibly even the norm, as our planet continues its decline.

110

Is Doom Imminent? @isdoomimminent.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Undoubtedly the weather is getting more and more brutal as climate change starts taking its toll… … but currently we’re still able to produce food for ourselves and, for the most part, the world economy seems little affected by climate change… … I just want to remain optimistic for my children…

120

Is Doom Imminent? @isdoomimminent.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

… for bringing them into this cursed, and ultimately doomed, timeline weighs on me constantly. I want to be optimistic that things will hold-out for my children through their lives, but, increasingly, I fear that doom is imminent. I hope that translates as intended into your language.

021

Is Doom Imminent? @isdoomimminent.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

… so I had not one, but two reversals as the first was unsuccessful. The first reversal was the most painful experience of my life, and I was blown-up, ejected from a vehicle, and landed in a fire while deployed in Iraq! Now I love both my children with all my heart, but the guilt I feel for…

100

Is Doom Imminent? @isdoomimminent.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

I struggle with this constantly. After I returned from Iraq in 2007 I had a vasectomy—the things I saw there convinced me of how sad, depressing, and evil our timeline is. Then, my current wife, who knew I had a vasectomy when we got married said that not having children would be a dealbreaker…

100

000

Is Doom Imminent? @isdoomimminent.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

What is your estimation of how long before climate change starts causing massive problems for the population writ large? I am 45, my youngest child is 12… … will either of our lives be drastically affected by climate change?

320

20-year Army veteran here… my service cost me my youth, mind, and body. I deeply regret what I participated in and did, and with every waking day I imagine what I could have done in an actually positive way with my life instead… … but, yeah, mindless “patriotism” for all.

020

Is Doom Imminent? @isdoomimminent.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

At my last unit before retiring in 2023, in a recently reactivated Corps HQ, there was a rampant suicide problem… and you know what? It was swept under the rug as much as possible and leadership all the way to the very top gave little to no fucks. So this news surprises me not in the slightest.

To our knowledge is using a nuclear weapon something that is actively being discussed by Trump or his regime goons?

250

Is Doom Imminent? @isdoomimminent.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Well… Republicans have become fascists, and Democrats just generally suck for a multitude of reasons both when they’re in power, and, especially, when they’re not… … so I am willing to give a good alternative the chance—and it seems to be working out well in NYC.
