Pillars. Oil on canvas. 12" x 12". October 2025. #art
Oil painting of the upper back of a person wrapping their arms around themselves. Head downcast, face not visible from here. The fingers of one hand point outward and cast four shadows. The spine is starkly rendered in red, black, and white. The figure uses saturated oranges and reds; the background is a turmoil of blue.

My Princess Who Shines Like The Sun (Self-Portrait) Acrylic on canvas. 24" x 36". December 2025. #art #acrylic #painting
Acrylic painting in predominantly saturated yellows and blues. A lone figure in a yellow dress stands on a flat blue-green roof in front of a cityscape and a vibrant blue sky. Her head is tilted down and her expression slightly smiling, eyes closed. A floral pattern is discernable on her sundress, except in the shadows, which are painted with big abstract strokes of blue and green. Bright teal is used to depict the dress's buttons down the front, and select lines of the face.

Multiple drop monotype prints #art
Close up of a face from the nose to chin, sticking its tongue out with some teeth visible. Rendered in vibrant shades of green, pink, yellow. Much of the form is vague or rough, but the mouth and nose are given clear dark contour lines Two hands overlapping loosely, printed in a bluish green and a reddish light brown. Marks are a mix of a crisp neon sign look and gradual transitions in value.

Bodies #art
Painting: close-up of the knees of a reclining nude. The thighs are together and the calves angled away from one another. The overlapping legs create an S-shaped line. Color is expressive shades of mostly red and green, applied in rough, textured strokesPainting: creases of an arm and back. Lighting emphasizes the fat folds of the back, and the side of the arm. The creases create a shape like a letter Y with an extra limb.Rough painting. Upward view of a head, up to the mouth. The neck and clavicles are the center of the composition. Turquoise is used for the hair and certain midtones and shadows, contrasting with the orange-leaning palette of the rest of the piece.

Multiple drop monotype in blue and orange ink. #art
Ghostlike portrait print in orange and blue. The subject is smiling and their eyes are closed or in shadow. Their expression may read as ecstasy. Their head is looking up at the viewer. Ethereal shapes swirl around them.

A print for Alice #art
A two-color monotype print with teal and pink. The subject is a nude woman depicted from the waist up. She appears to be smiling or smirking. Her eyes are closed and hidden by the frames of her glasses. The overlapping colors create a shimmering in the light areas.

For @maidshrike.church
A portrait painted in oil. Their face is rendered in red and gray, with the irises and some of the shadow areas in a saturated red. They seem to be looking down at the viewer. The face uses mostly soft color transitions; the hair and background use abstract hard shapes.Detail of lower left corner, showing the texture of the paint and of the canvas, the blending on the neck, red paint drips, and an area left unfinished with blank canvas peeking through.

Hi skeeters! I'm an artist who loves playing with the human form. I mostly work in traditional media. #art #drawing #pastel #painting #oilpainting #watercolor
27" by 40" pastel drawing. Two nudes, each standing on their own half of the page. The left figure is facing left, we mostly see her front. We see the right figure's back. Each figure has an arm outstretched to her side. The left one is smiling with eyes closed and stylized flowing hair. The right one is looking down and hugging herself with one arm. The figures are rendered with raking light and expressive colors; an orange-red light seems to shine out from her. The background is divided into light green and light blue, with a stark horizontal red line across the full image.A portrait painted in oil. Their face is rendered in red and gray, with the irises and some of the shadow areas in a saturated red. They seem to be looking down at you. The face uses mostly soft color transitions; the hair and background use abstract hard shapes.A watercolor portrait in black, with touches of lime green and red. Some of the edges are left to bleed across the page. There is a red line across the page behind the subject's neck.
