…Dost a princess journey to the lair of an oh so wicked beast, seeking thrill… or help? Artfight attack on Yoridan Quite different from my usual fare, I wanted to try and concentrate on the values for this one and do it entirely in greyscale. #dragon #artfight

I know it’s been kinda quiet here lately, oops. Took a little vacation at the end of May-stat of June and then got dropped some work in my lap that I can’t post here, if you get my drift :3 But I’m chuggin’ on and celebrating my 30th birthday today 😂🥲

artfight.net/~IronyFerrum Thought to skip this time 'cuz I'm just really drained this year, but figured what the hell. Keep the door open, even if I ultimately don't use it. I make no promises this time, I'm afraid.

‼️WE ARE LOSING A CHANCE AT TOP SURGERY! PLEASE HELP!🏳️‍⚧️ Hi, friends. We were met with a sudden hardship 😥 We're a triad of trans men living in a very transphobic country. Two of us may lose their chance at top surgery due to Kyrgyzstan pushing anti-trans legislation to ban all trans surgeries.

A call for help. Features my anthro raccoon sona with a trans flag tied as his cape.

With his goal, naturally, being trying to get stronger to come back and take his pride back. Yes, the lion king parallels are not subtle. No, I am not ashamed of anything :P

He was supposed to be from a pride of wild wemics, a prince, who took his father’s place as the pride’s king fairly young and was then ousted by a wandering rogue wemic in a duel (similar to how, in the wild rogue lions often take over a pride for themselves from a weaker male).

Going through some unfinished WIPs and got to lazily finishing this one. Tabari is a character I prepped for a Maztica campaign that never happened and because he is a wemic, who are from older dnd materials so I can’t exactly spring him on just any random DM for a random oneshot.

The build in question was called Fright Knight and I just felt like a paladin playing off of fear mechanics is the perfect fit for an Undead Dragonborn character, I mean c'mon. Pocket Dracolich. I wish I could tell you how she became an undead, though, but even I don’t know yet lmao

My new dnd character, codename "we have a dracolich at home" lol we haven't gotten to lvl 3 yet but I'm planning Conquest 'cuz I'm following a build made by a youtuber (d4: D&D Deep Dive, if you're looking for character inspiration or just like someone talking math at you in a very honeyed voice :D)

Oh, and as a sidenote: am I the only one who thinks we don’t get enough werewolf/ravens interactions? Wolves and ravens are famously known for getting along and cooperating well, but I feel like we don’t see a lot of that in werewolves.

As usual, you get full rights to the character so you can re-work them however you wish. My only rule is to not claim authorship of this specific depiction of the character.

I didn’t *plan* for my first female #werewolf #adopt to get done right on International Women’s Day… but I do find it neat, particularly since she was conceived as a Black Fury. So, happy International Women’s Day, my Queens, trans women included! May we keep on slaying! <3 ko-fi.com/s/4fcac38f4e

Not unless they forgot them. But just because it's not common, doesn't mean it can't be what happened. *Shrug* A screenshot with layers could be helpful proof. Particularly with the background layers and the lighting/rendering layers.

000

IronyFerrum - Commissions Open! @ironyferrum.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

This is a tricky one. On the one hand, my instincts scream ai, on the other, I hate the idea of accusing someone and being wrong because it *could* be that that's just how the artist does things, though it's not common for artists to add minor colouring details after you've started shading. (Cont)

110

IronyFerrum - Commissions Open! @ironyferrum.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

Like, what did the process look like on your end? 'cuz some of these things could be explained away by peculiarities if the artist's individual pipeline. But the could also be signals of you being bamboozled.

100

IronyFerrum - Commissions Open! @ironyferrum.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

I'm more inclined to think the picture wasn't entirely generated with AI, but I do think AI was used in the process. Judging by both this and some other of the artist's work. There is a chance I am mistaken, though, I am not making accusations, but I am voicing a certain level of suspicion.

100

IronyFerrum - Commissions Open! @ironyferrum.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

Why does the stage with the basic colors and even the first shading pass, when all the basic colors should already be there(third picture), lack the pink markings on the dick but they appear in the end result? Did the artist forget them and you had to remind them of them? Same with speckles on fur.

100

IronyFerrum - Commissions Open! @ironyferrum.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

If it were never there on the character's reference sheet, then why did the artist add it to begin with? The golden jewelry too, it's there in the blocking, gone everywhere else, did you ask to get rid of it? Why does his left hand look weird in that color blocking picture? (Cont)

100

IronyFerrum - Commissions Open! @ironyferrum.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

I wish this were foolproof, but it's not. You really want to see at least a screenshot of layers to be more sure. Also, what were the corrections you asked to make during the process? Like, why does the original colour blocking have a mane but it disappears later on? (Cont)

I drew *a lot* more in 2025 than in previous years. Despite all the curveballs life’s been throwing at me. Which is a win in and of itself for me! I love drawing, but let’s not pretend it’s easy, particularly when the backdrop of the world is what it is.

Supposedly they are always born with some innate flaw but some of them are so bizarre you can’t just attribute it to inbreeding within a small population (like the horns). There has to be some kind of spiritual component to the whole thing but I couldn't find a proper explanation on the wiki page.
