Jack kisses him firmly, a confident look shining in his eyes, and Izzy can tell Jack knows what he’s doing. He huffs and presses himself into Izzy’s embrace, and Izzy, without thinking too much of it, draws Jack in with both arms. Jack on top of him, he stares up in awe, oddly satisfied to have him there.

It feels like the kiss melts something inside of him, making him all liquid and gooey, and he becomes part of Jack. Jack smirks, satisfied, and pulls back away from his lips — only a little, though.

“Here’s what’s going to happen, Mr. Hands,” he says in a low, determined voice. “I am going to make you relax now.”

Izzy can’t believe it, but he relaxes. When Jack gets him going with more kissing, he finds that his body goes a little limp and softer, and he likes how it feels. He lets out a little sigh and reaches his hand into Jack’s hair as they make out like a pair of horny children over the table.

It feels so weird, and he wonders if anyone will notice them. This should be a private area in the pub, but what if…

Out of nowhere, Jack stops kissing him.

He’s relieved, but also irritated.

“What?”

Ed presses his lips to Anne’s and she kisses him back with an intensity that nobody else could match. That’s the fun Anne Bonny. It’s really easy to celebrate your bisexuality with both your best friend and the woman who’s crazier than the both of you combined.

He’s not sure that he could ever choose between men and women. Jack and Anne are a good representation of that. Jack fucks him like he’s made of nothing, throwing him around. He’s inelegant and not all that creative, but he’s a good lover.

Anne’s just as wicked as Jack, but where he’s a blunt instrument, she’s devastating and careful in the way she takes a person apart. One time she’d left him tied to her bed for so long he was pretty sure she’d leave him there. She’d also made him come so hard once that he blacked out.

Then having them both at once?

“You two are so pretty tonight,” Anne purrs against Ed’s throat. “You’ll fuck him for me, right?”

“This is my boyfriend, Oluwande,” Zheng says, gesturing to the man next to her. He wears a rainbow colored beanie specifically for pride, and it’s fucking adorable. She’s also really glad he’s there now that this guy’s talking to her. “Olu, this is Ricky.”

Ricky looks them up and down and Zheng and Olu both can tell that he’s judging them. The judgment comes off the prick in waves.

“It’s nice to meet you.”

She can tell by the tension in Olu’s voice that it’s anything but nice.

“So, you’re bisexual huh?” Ricky mutters, looking at the bi pride flag emblazoned across her chest. She knows he’s about to say something shitty before he even says it. “It seems strange to me that every bisexual woman here has a boyfriend.”

Zheng looks at Olu hard and then Olu rolls his eyes. He knows her too well, knows that she’s going to say something devastating to the man.

“Oh, well, you know, I figured that I’m too good for just one partner,” she says, tilting her head to the side. “Olu’s my boyfriend, but I also have a girlfriend.”

Olu sees where she’s going with this and a smile lights up his sunshine face.

“That’s not all.”

They turn around and spot the pair that they’re looking for. Jim and Archie are near one of the booths, Jim holding onto Archie’s hand almost as if they’re trying not to lose her. Zheng thinks that’s a pretty safe bet, as Archie tends to run off when she’s overly enthusiastic.

“Jim, babe, come here.”

Jim tugs Archie in their general direction and in a moment, the two are staring at the newcomer.

“What is this?”

“I’m like the ultimate bisexual,” Zheng says, a cheeky grin crossing her face. “Boyfriend, girlfriend, nonbinary partner. I check all the boxes.”

He’s not sure if Jim made it up or if they had heard it from somehwhere in their past. He loves the idea of it being a Jim-specific word.
“Cool.”
“That’s the word Jim used. I’m not sure if it’s a real word though. I’ve been into women before, then Jim who’s not a man or a woman, right?”
“Right? And?”
“And then I realized a few days ago that I found a man attractive. So I guess that covers everyone?”
“I suppose I’m a bit bisexual myself.”

Mary looks like she’s about to cry, but the pleasure on her face gives away how much she loves what she’s doing. She holds onto Stede’s beautiful husband with both hands on his chest, her legs on either side of his torso, and when she rolls her hips, she tucks her head into his shoulder. She’s close to the edge, Stede thinks, and he’s not sure he ever saw that look on her face before, as shameful as that is.

He’s never made this woman come, but Ed will. Not that Ed has a lot of choice about it, given that he’s all tied up.

Ed lies there helpless underneath her, his arms bound above his head. He’s beautiful, as always, an ethereal creature. Stede has never seen anyone like him. He looks up at Mary with a dark expression on his face, his eyes squeezed tightly shut after a moment.

“Stede, do you think he’s close?” Mary asks, looking over at him with a gleam in her eyes, eyes that are indeed glistening with tears. Stede understands that being with Ed can be that good. “You should know better than I do.”

Stede does know. He sees it clearly in Ed’s face, the way that he’s barely holding on. Things like this have always done it for Ed. He enjoys being tied up, being used, being at someone else’s pleasure. And Stede loves watching, even though this is the first time that their third has been female. Odd to do it with his ex wife, sure, but it’s also fascinating.

“He’s close.”

“Good. Me too.”

Okay, so Stede isn’t bisexual himself. Women just don’t get him going in that way. But seeing Ed with Mary, he can definitely appreciate bisexuality, theoretically, especially when he sees them both peak together.

“You can find him hot,” Jim points out, and Olu looks at them hard, wondering what they’re going on about. “I mean, Ed is objectively hot. Which is a complicated thing, sure, but nothing to be embarrassed about.”

“I know that I can find him hot,” Olu says, waving his arms a litlte in frustration. “I mean, I know that it’s a possibility. I just find it weird.”

“Why?” Jim asks, lowering their voice. “Olu, is it because he’s a man? Are you having a sexuality crisis?”

He rolls his eyes at that, because he is not having a sexuality crisis. First of all, he’s never really seen himself as straight. Sure, when he first found himself attracted to Jim, he thought they identified as female, but as Jim became just Jim and started to embrace their identity, he’d never had any doubts over the fact that he wanted them, desired them, or loved them. So, clearly, he wasn’t straight because Jim wasn’t a woman.

“It’s okay if you’re having a bit of a sexuality crisis,” Jim teases. “Is Ed the first cis man you’ve felt that way about?”

“I guess so.”

“Well, how do you feel about bisexuality, babe?”
